Keeping it with me to use it as a music player and a camera. Photos are great and better than iPhone 7 and QHD display stunning. Google pixel and high end Samsung phones may be able to match.
app support is crap.
Pretty much every famous app works fine on Android and much user friendlier and near extinct windows phone. The day google pulls out its maps application, a lot of people will stop buying iphones. For similar reason why I am not so happy with windows phone.
I've had various iphones in the family, and usually the iPhone lags behind other models in camera. Till iPhone 6, I don't think the photos were great at all. You need the following for good photos
1. Sony sensor (literally the best)
2. Carl zeiss lens (this is good for sure, others, you may have to test)
3. Good display (without which you won't really enjoy your hires photos)
iPhone doesn't seem to use sony sensor / carl zeiss, they believe in their own technology. I have a Lumia 950 that is just great at photography. iPhone comes nowhere near. Some of the sony android phones are also very good.
in general, the low cost models lack the camera that you're looking for. Nokia 8 is expected to be good here. It has the right combination.
I think this is just to woo voters. Don't think driverless cars can be stopped. Getting it to run in India would be a nightmare, as no AI algorithm is tested with the aggressive driving skills in traffic of Indian drivers.
And Trump borrowed it from Indian politics, promise jobs and restrict H1B.
One of the key issues with python is its global interpreter lock, making multi-threading highly inefficient. And its performance is not more than half of that of perl. Though for the purpose it is mostly used for, I don't think it matters.
I liked the "one way of doing things" rather than the perl's "many way of doing things". Hate the mandatory indentation.
Windows 8 was bad, really bad, but windows 10 is pretty good. It takes a while to get used to it, but I use the find feature more to find apps (click on start button and type the command) instead of clicking them.
Besides, if you want to secure your system, going for Windows 10S might be a good idea.
Microsoft should have made upgrade from windows 7 free for ever.
This question was asked to Douglas James Cottrell, who specialized in deep trance meditation and remote viewing. His answer was that it was more likely North Korea who had interfered. Irrespective of whether you believe in such things, North Korea clearly has the motivation and capability demonstrated by recent virus attacks.
India has had good relations with Russia. And in last two decades with US too due to its non violence and accommodative policies ever since its independence.
My thinking is that its the cold war post WW2 that makes America think Russia as an enemy, but if you look at history, Russia was never interested in doing anything against US. It was only paranoid about weapon's race, possibly based on its WW2 experience.
Russia might be the right country for US to ally with, and I think Trump is right here. Ofcourse, caution is adviced, which is the case with every foreign country!
Big companies have always used patents for revenue and I do not think all their moves have been ethical. Now that small time patent inventors have a way to make money out of their patents, why not?
No, nothing like that. It was always possible, and Indian companies do it to discourage finding a job. And in general, you will find yourself doing either nothing or some sh***y work during those 3 months instead of transferring technology to someone else.
In a rare case, yes you would be using the 3 month period to ramup up someone else, but which company gives 3 months for someone to rampup really?
Even in India, Uber and Ola are competing with each other at the cost of drivers profits. ~50 cars every month are confiscated because drivers were unable to pay the EMI for the loan.
There was no need of such low pricing. Moderate pricing would work.
The drivers have teamed up and are protesting.
One of the compelling reasons to force big manufacturers would be to minimize all the electronic junk that is being produced. There is a collective responsibility towards environment.
There are other repair shops who would do the job (for a price), but apple doesn't even provide original parts.
I worked with the India office of a major mobile company. I could have moved to US on L1, but realized that the salary paid there would have been less for 8 years of experience. Atleast this rule will ensure that people who are hired in US are paid fairly.
There is simply a shortage of the number of people required to run successful business in US.
You probably picked the wrong set of guys in India, or an incompetent manager. The process is well established for long, and engineers (most experienced ones) are aware of what tools to use and when.
I suspect is it also due to research on chemical warfare and viruses. It is not known in what proportion antibiotic abuse or careless research are responsible. No one will admit leaks anyway.
In India, Apple only replaces iphones with a new one, they've recently started some basic repairs for broken screen though.
What their stores do not tell is that the iphones are refurbished. Pretty much their staff always says new.
And having done this atleast twice, I can tell you its not worth the nominal price difference of 100 bucks they are offering. There is always some or the other quality issue. Maybe they do better in US.
You're assuming oldies do not know current tech: wrong. Most of them that I know of keep themselves up to date, and use the right tech for the job. There are a few from specialized domains like telecom who work on legacy systems and may not be looking on later tech.
Surely you can write in C/C++. But in my experience, not so experienced do make mistakes in design that we already know of. Ask any tech company what has been the contribution of younger vs older: Its the oldies (smarter amongst them ofcourse) who ensure that you get things right as much as possible the first time.
Oldies come from era where they have developed themselves from groundup. The processes and OO was evolving. And they've lived this evolution. None of the current generation have this perspective. You can't learn this from a book.
That said, technologies are evolving: servers are written differently, there is focus on scale, embedded systems use an OS like Android etc.
16 years into programming post college, I consider myself old enough. I constantly build myself, and due to lack of time, I prefer organized courses: on the lines of udemy / coursera, Slashdot deals. I love watching lectures on subjects that I missed in college (all the open courseware). Talks from conferences on youtube is great too. And I spend an hour watching video's daily, usually play them at 1.5x or 2x. This is quite gratifying.
I disagree. They didn't make a windows phone :-)
I own one BTW.

That's what you do to make Trump happy.

never read line by line, read block by block. And read every block line by line.
No wonder Trump won the election.

Its not just products made in China, its Raw material also which China disallows to export in raw form.
