    I did no testing of any sort... inside framework.pack.js it says

    I have no idea how you guys play. If you fill out your character sheet it only takes a quick glace and a roll to get a skill check. Soon you memorize that you have a zero modifier for Spot and Listen and then you just roll and hope for the best. I fail to see how that equation is 'easier' than d20 + modifier (composed of relevant ability score + ranks)...

    Just get Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls Construction Set. After you spend your first year or two fully playing through Oblivion you'd open up the construction set and start recreating the island you are on and make an adventure out of your life (adding in cool stuff like aliens and mythical beasts which you have slain with your bear hands while stranded). You'll be posthumously awarded the best game designer of the 21st Century! (Which they will then go back in time to save you from the island and you will live your your years in luxury in the 23rd Century (Maybe even meet Capt. Picard)

    I think they are being conservative.

    When i got my PS3 a while back the first thing I did was go down to the gamestore and buy the newest FF game under $20. That was FFX. I'm up to 70+ hours and I have had ONE noticable problem:

    -Once (of maybe 50+ startups) the screen was off axis (displaced up and to the left). The PS3 menu was just fine so I quit game, restarted it, and I haven't had any problems since.

    I think they are being cautious but so far I haven't had any real issues (A restart is not an issue... i've been using Windows for long enough ;) )

    Zero Gravity is taking him up... NOT NASA. It's NOT the Vomit Comet (NASA's plane).

    You aren't the only one...

    I usually pick race/outfit/etc based upon how much I think it will benefit me...

    When was the last time a modern sniper went into battle without facepaint? damn pale faces stick out like a sore thumb (And those sore thumbs are promptly blown away by my sniper rifle :D). I only wish there was a "desert" or "woodland" race. I'd pick them.

    Then again i'm also the kinda guy who turns down his graphics because it's easier to see people with low detail settings (movement sticks out more when everything else is just bland rolling blur)

    The differnce being that mars' gravitation pull, where mars will be in several years, the trajectory of the earth's gravitational pull and whatever else is needed to put a rover on mars is all based in scientific fact and advanced mathematics.

    With a simple square as a frame of reference you cannot measure depth... simple as that. Sure you can measure other objects at that distance from the camera.

    Amazing... they already have even more useful tools for this kind of thing. Notice however that the ruler must be ON the object to be measured. That requires only basic trigonometry...

    $99 bux for a trig program. What a bargain for those of us who construct houses in two dimensions!

    Type White House into Live search and the rooftops of all three buildings (old office, white house, treasury) are all blurred. Goto Google Maps and you've got clear images. 'Tis a shame we can't gawk at the Anti-Aircraft I very much hope is up there.

    Hi. It's nice to meet you all. I am an addict... I have thankfully been able to resist WoW (I only played in the Stress Test at the cost of my Summer Assignments)... but with WAR and Dragon Age coming out... I'm doomed. Both will (hopefully) have the extra zing that WoW doesn't... or I mean, hopefully i'll be able to resi... must... play... *hack*... *slash*... *hack*... *slash*...

    But seriously, flood lights aren't going protect your home very well, especially DYI projects. If it's safety you have in mind, it is worthwhile to call the professionals.
