Thank you! Sometimes it's like talking to a brick wall, those people who insist that the Big Three were just selling what people wanted...but Americans have been historically willing to pay more, proportional to the size of the vehicle.
I was happy agreeing with you, but then at the end I think you just contradicted yourself.
That is a naive argument based on the idea common in socialist countries that salaries are some form of charitable donation to employees. It is not. Salaries are determined by the supply and demand for labor.
You forget that in the USA there is a thing called 'minimum wage'. What we see here is the circum-navigation of minimum wage in order to make minuscule gains on profitability.
That's not the corporation's fault exclusively - they've been set up to make the most profit that they can as their single most important goal - at the expense of the health and well-being of workers if need be.
The Chinese government could step in and impose minimum wages, but then the corporations might just move somewhere else.
It's a tricky problem that really can only be solved in the regulation of corporations in conjunction with the governments of the countries in which they operate.
In a nutshell:
Validate your goddamned data. Use prepared queries to prevent SQL injections. And so on. The language used itself has very, very little to do with security in the end.
Stored procedures are also good ways to avoid injection attacks...
You can tag this flamebait or troll, but as soon as those 3 items at least match the speed they are in windows, I will switch to ubuntu in a second.
That's ironic, because when those three things are just as fast on Linux as they are on Windows everyone will start to switch to Linux and you probably won't want to develop for Windows anymore...
I know what you're thinking, but no, not even for math!... during the years of military government here in Argentina it was forbidden to teach through Sets theory.
Exchange is Microsoft's last fortress protecting the enterprise. If we could run an Exchange clone on Linux it would be so much easier to ditch all the rest of the Microsoft suite.
One of the most beautiful movies ever made... I have the feeling that the only way a sequel would get made is if Ridley Scott financed it. No studio in their right mind would touch it, as is often the case with the most worthwhile movies.

Blade Runner wasn't a movie, it's a audiovisual coffee table book;-)
I don't mind Visual Studio, and I am a Mac guy. XCode does things a bit differently esp. in regards to the Interface designer, and it's a bit harder to get into than Visual Studio...
There are other deadly effects of altitude, when you get too high you're no longer able to have a decent hot cup of coffee in the morning, no matter how long you boil the water for...
Looks like you'll just have to go to the Moon to do your radio astronomy. Hey that might be fun too ;-)

BY THE POWER OF MY TUSKS!! ??
I always felt that incy wincy was a better term to describe something that is infinitely small.
I would have modded you up. Nicely put.

The Daewoo "espero" is though...

why?

Good point, wish I had mod points.
who cares?
Except if it's a Mac.
By that logic, is anything "unnatural"?
No.
why not just condense the vapor back into liquid? You could have the vapor being fed into a container where it's condensed back to water...
There is still one relatively successful distribution of *BSD
Last time I checked Mono didn't even support ReadLine on the Mac. I really wanted it to work, and it nearly did.

I used GOTO once. It was so sweet it can only be a sin.
Is that a promise?
The wow starts now! :-)

Or more specifically: that shit flavored ice cream tastes like shit flavored ice cream.
