    The real embarrassment is that Windows is already up to 8.1, while the Linux kernel is only at 3.1

    From what I've heard, Microsoft has Bing as the default search on Explorer (I use Linux, but my dad said he went to use his computer one day and the search had switched from Google to Bing after an update) and they can still claim only an 18% share of teh market?

    I don't call that success especially after the years and money invested .... :(

    Julian Barbour, I believe, is headed in the right direction. My 2 pence only.
    Basically, time and space are separate, not inseparable, which helps deal with a lot of quantum/gravity inconsistencies.
    But I am not a physicist/astrophysicist/etc

    But turning the computers on is just plain gross incompetence.

    Turn the computer off/reboot into a forensic linux cd/dvd, examine the hard drive, do what you want, switch some system files for files more under your control, then hope he doesn't notice you've done these things.... then follow his computer activity/trail, his tor activities....
