This report fails to take into account the added capabilities of this phone. People will be much more willing to spend 300+ dollars on a phone from a company that has a impressive history in the mp3 player department.
This is not just a phone. Remember that.

Well Said! This whole thing is pretty disturbing for me seeing as I just watched V for Vendetta again last night.

Yes, youve brought up some important points. One thing to keep in mind is that what I posted above will not always work. Its just a "most likely to work". Sometimes random things happen but the way I suggest will give the best results more often than others.
Sex. Sex is a VERY important part of marriage. You are definitely on track there. However, and it is not impossible, sex does limit the emotional developement/analysis between the two partners. This does not mean that if you have sex before marriage you are bound to fail, just that you may not have a chance to fully learn your SO. Its sort of a balancing act. Sex is important but premarital sex can jepordize a marriage more than help ground it.

Ok, let me get started.
Divorce as we know it, stems from a variety of things.
1)Simply picking the wrong person/premarital sex
2)Something happening with that person that causes emotional trauma
3)Finding out you are gay
4)Parents are divorced/Childhood familial insecurity
5)Divorce "Culture"
Contrary to popular belief, number 4 is the most important factor in the cause of divorces. The family that eats together stays together doesnt just apply to your family(brother mother father sister) but also to your future family. If your parents divorced you are 50% more likely to get a divorce!
Number 1: This usually stems from knowing your girlfriend for all of a year or maybe a year and a half. Also DO NOT LIVE with your girlfriend, this does not: help you to know your girlfriend better.
Premarital sex is highly instrumental to divorces. Sex creates an artificial "physical" bond between to peoples that is very, very similiar to love. It does not, however, last. Thus for a lasting relationship some sort of emotional bond is also necessary. Try to just "have fun" and dont go any further. I know it sucks but think of your children. Also a study was done and apparently waiting till marriage not only increases stability but also increases sexual pleasure...
Number 2: This also stems from negligence. If you are good to your wife and always the man she wont have a reason to go looking somewhere else. Negligence is perhaps where your marriage went south. IT tends to be engrossing and its easy to forget the family.
3) Nuff said
5) The "lack of sanctity" in marriage nowadays is a real problem. Marriage is not just a "thing you do" this would be true if it were just you and your wife. But once you add children into the equation you are responsible for them. Try and see a counselor, and really just work it out. Remember its not just about your happiness anymore. You took the plunge now you have to hold your breath.
Good luck in life,
Prof
Your employer runs a pretty hefty workstation. Although I have worked for, or known people that made similiar switches the scale was not even close. So it worked pretty well as the community was close-nit and excited about the change. In your case though, there will be more disruption, not everyone wants to use linux... Id suggest just inserting the new computers in one department, preferably one where the employees are already interested in linux. I would also suggest taking a workgroup poll to get interior feedback interest as well.
I have to say, I love muds. I started playing them in 1999 and have been an afficionado ever since. My favorite mud is muddywaters at its demanding quest wise, but also has great hack and slash. Tired of easy games? want something that really tries your imagination and problem solving skills? Play muddywaters! See you there Prof
Ask said researchers to pay you. I dont think anyone would disagree with that tactic. Sure you might be seen as ungrateful to the gift that you can give to mankind. However I think that in the end, at least from a utilitarian point of view, he should be examined I think its exciting, but I wouldnt get carried away by it Prof
I believe 3G refers to the speed and bandwidth of the satellite connection and does not refer in anyway to computer speed itself.
In a nutshell it means that faster internet connections will be much more affordable and less of a hassle.
Hope it spreads to my part of the U S of A quickly.
See you all on Usenet when it does!!

I have to say, its a good idea. However where exactly would be the dump site. I for one would suggest a trench. What little life that exists down there would not be affected by a huge volume of CO2. Also, its not that hard to get C02 under water. The problem lies in allowing the CO2 to dissipate from the containers sent down in at a steady rate, rather than all at once.

Content is all that matters. I wouldnt pay the same for a 30min clip of a show as I would for a movie. Furthermore, movies are variable. I think the older the movie is, the less it should cost.
However as to pricing. I would pay no more that 4$ for any type of downloadable media.

Its always been like this. New software begins its life either in Japan/China/ Or the United states. It then makes a jump across the Atlantic in variable time. Think MSN vs Google. The United States has the largest percentage of Google users per computer owner. Then Uk then japan. The Uk will catch up, just give it time and promotion. (Not to mention that this story will most likely help spread the goodness that firefox represents.)

Its not that I disapprove of video games. I love them and waste quite a lot of time on them. But not as much as I could. Now I understand that these arent the typical game console, but it builds a response in the child. Responses are sent from the system to the child in a pre-programmed manner. There is no room for experimentation. Get your kid some interactive toys, like lego's blocks, playmobil, something where there is only your child and the toy, not some machine that gives answers based on some programmers idea of how it should all work out.

Go where you will enjoy yourself most...Google
You want your job to be fun and from what Ive seen Google has more to offer.
The poor soul doesnt know what hit him. The website is moving slower than an ant caught in molasses.
Someone should set up a mirror.

The kde server timed out. I suggest they commit some more bandwidth if they are going to take on all the /. users.
Reminds me of Software companies "protecting" open source by patenting it.
This will only result in the further degradation of humankind...
