Standard BF2 runs great for me. Tends to lag a little on 64 player servers but other than that its great. When i got the expansion pack, I get less than 5 fps on average and thats on absolute minimum settings. Also the lag seems alot worse, but with FPS that low, i cant be certain.
its unfortunate that top of the line cards are getting more expensive. I have an X850XT Platinum Edition myself and its great. but it cost me 470 dollars. These new cards are over 600 dollars. I would hope that top of the line cards would get LESS expensive.
Also, my card has been chugging on lowest settings for BF2: special forces, but i can run regular Battlefield 2 max settings smooth as glass. whats up with that?
Ion engines are high impulse, low torque, so they are appropriate only once your already IN space. even then, there is extremely slow acceleration. I think the construction of a space elevator http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Elevator would be a much greater step towards "casual" space flight.

Interesting but i really dont want my hard drive or ram at 100 degrees. im sure they never get that hot with air cooling. for cooling the cpu and gfx card its a solid, if impractical concept. when you include ram and hard drive, not to mention other componets, it gets crazy quick.
i like the political speech option in particular. too bad that website is so ethnocentric. I would love to listen to mussolini and oswald mosley. truly great speakers with a powerful and just message. Its a pity more dont recognize their genius.
