Note that the registration of computer professionals only applies to those working in the 'Critical National Information Infrastructure' (wtfever that means), but I doubt your iPhone app or that Open Source project falls into this category.
Peter Sunde, a Pirate bay admin, tells Ars that the Purple One's legal team has already started leaning on some advertisers to drop support for the site. "We're not even worried, since the Internet is too big for morally upset people to get it their way," Sunde said in an e-mail. "I'm just sad that Prince--whose music I really like--can't understand that he's the new Metallica versus Napster. And we all know who lost that..."
Uhhh...yeah, Napster did.
Actually I think they both lost. Or at least reached a stalemate. Napster isn't completely dead, Shawn's not exactly rotting in jail, music sharing is still available via many other channels. And most important - I get all Metallica music off the net.

That seems a bit funny, considering how Dell has usually been more customer/sales focused, as opposed to the focus on technology by HP. The Laptop-that-blew-up must not be helping their ratings either;)
I don't know how it is in other countries but where I am, the customer support of Dell is outsourced to other companies. Even Siemens is one of the support vendors. And a lot of these people have close to zero knowledge on Linux. Considering the fact that Dell (kindof) supports RHEL, thats pretty stupid.
I've personally had to deal with morons from Dell support. One guy came in to fit a new server on our rack, and he came in with wrongly sized nuts for the rails. We redirected the surveillance cam at him to grab 50 minutes of him RTFM.. which I later showed to the management.
You know what really disturbs me? The number of people I've met who actually believe that idiotic myth. We really live in a pathetic state of education when this type of nonsense is accepted without question.
wait... are we talking about Inteligent Design or goldfish...?
from TFA: The safety agency said the batteries were not unique to Dell, meaning that other companies using Sony batteries may also have to issue recalls. Sony has sold its batteries to most of the major computer makers.
I think that's a yes.
also here shows that sony batts have been problematic before. I also remember a recall (3+ years ago) for sony camcorders due a battery leakage. One cam apparently caught fire.
Manglish has long been known to us Malaysians as the default derivative of english spoken here. It generally is a combination of all the major languages spoken here; Malay, Tamil, Chinese and of course.. English. Or sometimes it is English words with non-english grammar. Engrish is not the same because we are perfectly capable of saying "Roll the Red Rose" (as opposed to the engrish version - "LOL the Lhed Lhose")

Yes but my version that will (blissfully) not care about the meaning of anything: Web 4.20

Needless to say our next server will be an HP.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think it is perfectly legal to use photos of "famous prominent figures".
Usually that means celebrities, so i don't know how dinos fit in...
I would make a retort but I'm too engrossed with Duke Nukem Forver. It never ceases to amaze me how well it runs on Linux.
