I do agree with the order to open up sections of their software, I beleive that the whole media player part is incredibly stupid:
1. What's so wrong about them bundling WMP in the first place- people have the option to install another media player anyway
2. MS bundle other software onto Windows- Notepad, Wordpad, Outlook Express, IE (OK I wish they didn't put on the last one). Wouldn't MS bundling absolutly anything onto Windows be illegal in the eyes of the EU?
I'm from Britain and even I can tell this is unconstitutional.
Most arguments that revolve around breaking the First Amendment are really stupid (government should be able to stop young people from buying violent games etc.) but this is a clear violation of free speech. Also, I don't see why gambling is banned in the US (most states), you can't stop people gambling in private. Also, someone please explain to me how lotteries are legal in the "Land of the Free"
I live in the UK and have 2Mbps Tiscali Broadband. I'm currently downloading Ubuntu 6.06 at 240 KB/Second which is not far off the 2Mbps claimed speed- I have at times come very close to that speed.
The code should be used to exploit all browsers that do not follow W3C standards, this is mostly IE anyway, but it would be morally right if it did this.
Well done, Zonk. A most excellent review: one of the best I've read for anything
At last, Garry's Mod 10 is out on Steam for $10 (what's 1 cent when the exchange rate is so heavily in favour of Pounds Stirling. Great Britain FTW!)
ES4: Oblivion has multicore support already because it was developed for Xbox 360 also

The world's biggest Counter Strike Server

And besides, it fails validation:
looks fine to me
There is a very good reason for Google's secrecy- Microsoft etc. would copy them. Also, they're nowhere near as secretive as MS.
It's so busy that the .torrent file itself is downloading at 1.0KB on my 2meg connection!

You know, it could just be a really clever diversion.
How about if you don't announce that its patented as soon as someone violates it, the patent becomes invalid. Some politician please pick this up!
What will they do? Stop the sale of MS products in the EU if they refuse to comply.
