Vonage and other VoIP providers are getting shafted by Sasktel a major Canadian telco. Sasktel is a crown corporation, and own the lines in Saskatchewan. It was only recently that other providers were permitted to sell long distance there, and Saskatchewanians can't get a VoIP phone number with their local area code because Sasktel charges Vonage too much for a block of numbers. They claim they are selling them at a price that's in line with other regions, but how come in every other Canadian province you can get a local area code for your VoIP phone?
I had to type in stuff for Indy 500 and Lemmings had something too. They were games that came with my Sound Blaster Pro.
Star Trek 25th had a manual feature built into the game instead where you had to visit the right star on the map for the mission, and the stars changed.
You don't get geekier than a watch with a PDA built into it, with little games. Hook a USB cable to it, or get an older model that works with a CRT monitor by flashing barcodes at a little eye sensor to transfer phone numbers and important lists and birthdays.
I've had my original series Datalink watch since 1997, and it's only on its second battery, and I use the alarm every morning.
I asked similar offices what they planned to spend on, and copied their template with permission.
There are annual expenses like licenses.
There are triannual expenses like computers and occasional purchases too.
There are long term goals or buying plans.
Make three parts, and you'll be well organized like it sounds like you were.
Wait, I don't understand. This is news? I thought it was common knowledge that a large portion of bloggers (the majority?) simply copy text from elsewhere as their "blog".
Oh sorry, I meant to put quotes around your comment, but I wanted to demonstrate what the average blog looks like.
How will the economy function if the credit department can't count on 25% interest on that ^$6500 they are owed? Those people are hurting the economy by taking charge of their debt load!
You should have built your office in a Faraday Cage, fool! And they all laughed at me when I did it years ago! MUHAHAHAHAHA!
I guess the market for firewalls is going to go way up because of this. Clever solution providers will get rich in Toronto.
"Most every physical-plant control device, whether it be security cameras, chilled water-valve actuators or parking garage card readers, are being designed to work with the IP network"
Won't somebody please think of the toasters! If they can't turn on and off their toast so they can arrive at their office and breakfast is hot and ready, then what good is all this IP based technology?
I'd actually consider buying a Nintendo platform that supports Gameboy and NES games as well as the new stuff. Either that, or gives owners a license to run an official NES emulator on their PC. Donkey Kong trumps new stuff any day.
The fair Garden State will turn into the State of Decay. How better to encourage online participation than to threaten fines or jail for those doing what other people in every jurisdiction but China already allow?
Mr. THOMAS HESSE (President, Sony BMG Global Digital Business): Most people, I
think, don't even know what a Rootkit is, so why should they care about it?
I've not used it every day, but I've not had any trouble with OO.o.
I've disabled the Java in the Tools Options too, and it starts quicker than before, but it's not crashed on me once. I recommend it to all of my friends when they moan about the price of MS Office.
"I am waiting for the industry to force us all to buy new cd players so they can create some super secure format."
In unrelated news, Blue Ray DRMable discs are under manufacture as we speak.
The Opteron AMD processor is going into CRAY Supercomputers, so it only makes sense that Microsoft start making Windows for those AMD computers.
What's next, a Beowulf cluster of Bill Gates?
Might I suggest a pre-emptive upgrade, and isntead of replacing MD5 with MD6, go with MD7 or even MD8 to avoid the need to upgrade after cracks are found for MD6 or 7.
Or just use Blowfish 1024bit?
Then Sony's new Rootkit with DRM goodness should get a prize in 2005. It helped dozens or thousands of WoW cheaters to evade The Warden. Now that's cutting edge gaming technology!
I didn't realize it was a problem elsewhere too. Thanks for bringing up examples.

Do you suppose the NSA is also responsible for the backdoor exploit on the Goatse guy?
