With all the shenanigans lately, perhaps the best way to fix problems with providers and the FCC is to vote for canidates who don't take PAC money.
That would work if we were not in a hyper-partisan environment where they rather have their "team" win even if it requires PAC money. One way to dilute the problem would be to have ranked voting so that multiple candidates from the same party can be on the ballot or we can have real third party choices.
With Alexa playing a fake argument, the adjoined neighbors won't suspect anything is out of place when I accidentally knock over a lamp while I'm robbing the place! #DontForgetToStealAlexa;)
I don't understand why everyone assumes that just because recycling was being shipped overseas then it must have been just dumped in a landfill or in the sea. ... Yes, there was certainly some dumping going and some shady "recycling" companies in China were not really recycling everything. ... Yes, the contaminants (and the scrap that had become too contaminated to use) was in the end getting dumped or burned
what if you could just feed aluminum cans and plastic bottles to your 3d printer and it could just recycle them directly into whatever you wanted?
The problem isn't the actual recycling. The problem is that China accepts scrap with high levels of contaminants while nobody else does. Why? Well they were really just putting this stuff in the ground, burning it or dumping it in the ocean.
Now that the gravy train is over, they need to do is make the recycling biz honest.
Why do you think the news talks about Russia so much more than China?
It's likely because we have a president who may have gotten help getting elected from Russia. Also the active an ongoing interference in elections around the world (including our own upcoming ones) tends to get them mentioned. Oh yeah and then there is the whole Russia poisoning people abroad.
But don't worry, the same president also kowtows to all dictator nations.
If all you have to do is add a little of element X to get color Y in a diamond then it seems like it shouldn't be long until they start growing them in a lab like this. The bizarre thing is that people actually want these shiny chunks of carbon.
Bacteriophages and eventually engineered bacteriophages seem like the likely future for fighting bacterial infection. It also seems like machine learning would be a good fit for developing bacteriophage variants when resistant mutations are found.
So a single piece of ransomware (that came out before the article) and is dependent on you running Magento is what Linux users need to worry about? Sounds a hell of a lot safer than Windows.
Just like the hot 18/f/CA that used to hang out in all of those AOL chatrooms I'm willing to bet that it's a big fat hairy dude sitting behind a desk somewhere in Langley Virginia.
Hey, I'm not fat and hairy! I'm just... festively plump.;)
That Russian Agent ( Maria ) Has stronger ties to Oabma (met with his administration) than the NRA (basically did nothing with them).
The disinformation is strong with this one.
Make of that what you will... that and the fact that Obama did nothing about Russian interference despite being warned about a year in advance the Russians were trying to interfere.
What you and others have overlooked is that Obama obviously worked with Trump and Russia to prevent Hillary from being elected.
LOL! Where did you get that idea from, infowars?
It also fits with Obama being a stronger supporter of Russian actions that Trump. Trump has actually double-crossed Russia, once he was elected Trump proceeded to act directly against Russian interests (just ask 200 dead Russian mercenaries in Syria).
What you refuse to acknowledge is that Trump doesn't always agree with what the administration does. He's out of the loop on what actually happens because he refuses to even read basic information about what is happening.
I wondered, why is it that the summary mentions not just what kinds of false organizations were present that had to be removed?
Following the story link you can see for yourself:
"Aztlan Warriors", "Black Elevation", "Mindful Being", and "Resisters."
It is interesting so I actually looked into it. What they are doing is like before, setting up events so that opposing groups would appear at the same place. The obvious conclusion is that they are trying to create a violent political event to create even higher tensions in the US.
Huh! That's odd, not one of those groups represent Trump or Republicans in any way.
The point (in this case) isn't to promote one side or the other, it's to create violence.
It makes you wonder if groups are going to all the trouble to create false fronts on Facebook, how many people you see at protests are really there because what they are protesting, or how many are there to be paid to stir up trouble
Considering the Russians are in Russia, it would say it's very few. However, we do know of one Russian agent: Maria Butina who infiltrated the NRA.
I have thought a lot of Antifa people are probably not really wanting to burn cars/buildings, but that there are selected individuals added to stir up the mob just to create chaos.
Here's the problem with that idea... Antifa isn't burning cars or buildings. Feel free to link to an article to the contrary.
In particular, the bomb it described was considered a "dirty bomb", but from what I remember, the most difficult to acquire component was the plutonium.
A dirty bomb is just a chemical explosive with a radioactive component. You're retarded if you think that's even in the same ballpark as a nuclear bomb.
They'll lose in the Supreme Court. This isn't just a Second Amendment issue, it's a First Amendment issue foremost.
All of the constitutional amendments have limits, even the first amendment. The first amendment is intended to protect from political and religious oppression. Like prohibiting people from screaming fire in theater this too could easily be considered a public safety issue.
That said, with the nut bars currently staffing SCOTUS, DD may just win.
I simply don't get why people like you, no offense, have no natural feeling how mindboggeling huge the amount of gas is
No, it's simply that people like me don't have a myopic view of what is possible. Sadly people like you seem to limit yourselves to ideas that can be accomplished in your own tiny lifespans. Just because it may take hundreds of years to complete doesn't mean it's not worth starting.
Then you do not have control your car because you merely wrote software to manipulate their software. If want real control, you must write your own software to replace theirs.
Venus has many of the components needed but less of the adventure that Mars offers. As a compromise, I suggest harvesting, cooling and shooting lots of CO2 from Venus to Mars. Ideally you would want to automate this process. At the same time you need to start collecting all the iron from the Martian surface to eventually put back in the core. The core may need help getting started but once there is a CO2 atmosphere in place, it should feedback more heat, fully melt and start generating a magnetic field again.
Complaining that it will take too long wont get it done any faster.;)
I definitely understand the reasoning, but I don't think this is an ethical way to do it.
What would be the ethical way of doing it?
If the recert fails their passing grade, you have signed a contract that allows them to "disable" your car, and you don't get any of the $ back.
Disabling the car seems like a legal liability thing. It may seem cruel but when some idiot fails and his car goes up in flames later then that idiot could sue the inspector which is costly to defend against with the spectre of possibly being held liable. Anyway, I think the restrictions will be relaxed when they start making batteries that don't have a thermal runaway problem.
Honestly though, if you want to take control of your car then you are going to need to write your own code to run on it or maybe design some replacement PCBs if something is a total black box. It's no simple feat but this is the reality of automotive electronics.

More posturing by SJWs who think their opinion is important.
Which part of this ban screams "social justice"?

We keep being told that GE is a has-been company that no longer has interesting tech to offer the world.
By who, retard? I have yet to read or hear an authoritative source of information make such a dubious claim.

What we need to do is find a suitable bacteriophage variant that can obliterate MRSA. It's not a permanent fix but it will buy us more time to figure out how to engineer bacteriophages.

...not really...https://linux-audit.com/linux-and-the-rise-of-ransomware/
From your link: "A proof of concept (PoC) is already available for Linux"
Great, a PoC. So, how many people have reported getting hit by ransomware on Linux in the last two years since that article? *cough*zero*cough* -_-

Thanks disinformation guy but Obama actually did warn us but McConnell would only agree to a severely watered down warning.

I think we've firmly established, over and over, that banning books does not work.
Do inform me when you find a book accurately detailing how to create a nuclear bomb. The FBI would also be interested.
Some things are kept secret for the good of humanity.

>> World War I and the discovery of cheap oil derailed Shuman's dream of replicating his "sun power plant" on a grand scale
Also, ya know, physics. Not everyone has access to abundant sunshine, cheap natives and water within arm's reach.
What boggles the mind is how NASA managed to convince the natives to help Spirit and where they got the water from! NASA sure are a crafty bunch!
>> Shuman's plant used parabolic troughs to power a 60-70 horsepower engine
Cool, so he was also a pioneer in "clean energy" frying birds as they flew. http://www.latimes.com/local/c...
I would prefer 10M dead birds from concentrated solar to the 10B dead birds that oil is killing.
And thus, awful.
Neat! Got a repo for the software?
