No, instead we should start illicitly downloading all our Star Trek so as to damage Paramount even more! And then distribute the copies to all of our friends!
It seems like every time we turn around, there's some new problem with the space shuttles. They all need to be redesigned and rebuilt! Too bad all the of budget's going to blow things up overseas...
Honestly, as a full-time web developer in PHP/ASP/SQL/Flash/Java, I don't use books. I use Google 99% of the time I need to know something. So my bookshelf is full more of Douglas Adam's books than O'Reilly, for instance. If I had to buy a computer oriented book however, it would definetely be from the O'Reilly publishers.
I know for certain that I'm better at emergency situation driving (like fishtailing on ice, or people pulling out in front of me, etc) because of driving video games like Need For Speed. At 100 mph sliding, skidding, or objects appearing out of nowhere in your path is typical, and you learn to respond instantly to such situations. I'm a better driver because of driving video games.
I feel bad that the online msuic sellers have to take a hit for greedy record companies (no, actually I don't) and probably wouldn't mind paying a teired fee for music (since I rarely buy any anyway), but I think there should be caps. 25 cent minumum, as well as, say, a $1.50 maximum.
Aw shucks... now I can't complain about how I submitted 2 dozen or so detailed bug reports when Java Studio Creator was in beta and they gave me nothing, not even a discount on its release, in return.:P
This is great new otherwise, first thing I did when I read about this was download Studio Creator and Studio Enterprise.:)
Sounds like something my noise cancelling headphones would screen out. Problem solved. Besides, I'd be hard pressed to find a teenager who can hear such a frequency. Most of us youngens arleady listen to the music in our car that loud, and probably have worse hearing than the older generations.
I hate platform-based email clients. I can get my mail, RSS feeds, and a whole boatload of crap I don't need from my personalized Google home page and it loads in under a second. I don't have to have some memory-hogging program eat my RAM when I'm don't even care to check the news or mail, and the information is right in front of me whenever I open an internet browser...which is probably the most used application on my computer.
So did I.
On your own websites, you can opt out of recieving image based ads, but I still hate this idea. Maybe I'll try Yahoo's new program...
There are still people who are using something other than bitorrent?? What????????

The only price I would pay Microsoft or MTV is free. Two evil giants that I hate vehomently.

Hahahaha. Perhaps I should switch to Kubuntu after all!
So cancer IS contagious!
Woah, I think the Apple Newton had better specs than that! I could see myself buying one of those for maybe a $100 less.

Who they callin' fake? I happen to live on Asdasdasd Avenue! Look up the facts before making blatent assumputions.
Music should be heard and not understood... you're talking about Steely Dan, right?
The question is, will the mainstream developer adopt these specifications No.

That's it! I'm quitting my job today and applying at Google.
Good, now I don't have to read the article.
See, Bawls must be good for you.
I love those Ubuntu people, almost as much as Google. Good work guys!

Yah, I'm on the internet for 8+ hours a day...it's my job to be. Hmm...
"and a fast-rising number are becoming addicted to Internet video games" Just Internet video games... what about video games in general?
500 bucks?? That's Frugal???? No thank you...I'll buy an iPod and duct-tape it to the back of my head.

Long live Google.
