My roommate freshman year (I am a sophomore now) communicated with me before we moved in via his dad's AOL email account from work. I had him create a Facebook account about three weeks into school. His first home computer was shipped to him at school a week into the year, his family's first home computer, and no, he is not poor.
Most likely, there is a hardware layer involved somewhere tracking if his computer is on or not. If it is on and not sending a signal to the server, he gets busted.
Actually, my school (Ferris State in Michigan) did this as well. I got a letter on my desk at work saying the school had been sent settlement letters and that Ferris does not monitor the network, so they would not release the names of students. Of course, we are most likely going to get sued for it, bu our lawyers are ready, I imagine.
Uhh, yeah, the summary linked to www.archive.org/web/web.php or something like that, which is the site in question. I know everyone likes to rag on the editors, but they aren't horrible, at least not all the time.
I find it so amazing that most replies say that this gets rid of mosquitos. It does not. It emits a mosquito like noise, meant to annoy people. He IS trying to annoy his neighbors, there is no other purpose for the device.
HA! HA! ahahahahahahaha hahahaha hahaha ha ha hooooooo
That's a good one! Lemme tell you the one about the preist and te boyscout leader now. See, these two were in the woods...
So you decided to look for another OS just because MS decided they would do something about security and put a firewall in, rather than letting the majority of users go without, and making the rest pay for one? You either hate yourself and don't admit it or you have no concept of what good vs bad is.
I use this all the time, I just went and checked to see if all my stuff was still there and I could still log in. I was glad to see I could. And happy to see no one else could;p
I would say it uses older apps because the newer ones either cost too much in terms of performance or storage space or licensing, or a combination of those.

Trillian shows my AIM mail, even though I don't use AIM mail, so I am sure it would show Yahoo! and Hotmail, as well, if that is what you use.

Nintendo always releases on Sunday, so Best Buy and whatnot can feature it on their Sunday ads.

I mean, can I... install OSX on it?

"Overuse of sunscreen" Ummm... what was the point of preaching sunscreen then if we are all going to die from using it anyway?

Okay, it would only make sense just to NOT buy it if you have RSI. It isn't like they are forcing you to.
