Except not conforming to the W3C standards, having a crappy implementation of CSS, and presenting a huge security risk for millions of computers worldwide, well, nothing much, really.
I've never used ATi cards, but have used nVidia cards for the last five years.
The only times when I run into problems with the drivers is if I try to use an old card with a new driver. nVidia has documentation listing which driver supports which cards, but it is simply not accurate, and you have to keep trying until you find an even older driver that does work.
I don't get why they just don't keep support for older cards in the driver, and I see this issue as another reason why an open source driver would be better.
Apparently, kids who post on Slashdot these days know *nothing* about looking around and purchasing a $50 FX5200 card with 128MB, which runs it just fine.
The funny thing is, resolution shouldn't matter much anymore. If you switch to a higher resolution, things shouldn't suddenly look a lot smaller, they should look sharper!
Why remove the subscribers' posts? I'd rather have a subscriber get ``first post'' and actually post something interesting, than one of those stupid trolls.
