    It's all a scam by Apple to sell bigger iPods. 256K will suddenly become the new norm and therefor all your iPods will suddenly only hold half as many tracks.

    I only ever google on the main words of the subject i am interested in. "Warez" as opposed to "where can i get the latest warez from?". Seriously, does google do anything with the "where can i get" part?

    I have heard that some people are are slowing their DVD drives down to make them a bit quieter. Will that have the same effect? Different read speed could get you blocked from Live.

    while it has a nice GUI, it seems that buttons on toolbars are thought to be uncool. So you spend most of your time either doing things via menus (the hard way) or via the keyboard. The latter sort of defeats the whole point of a GUI. Toolbars are there for function, not for show. Of course Vista is just as bad these days. It looks like a button but when you click on it a menu pops up. IE7 looks sooo confused.

    Does make you wonder what sort of company it is that can't really write drivers for its own hardware? The whole idea of them borrowing NV's archietecture in the first place was to simplify driver writing. graphics card + crap drivers = waste of electricity.

    Yes, I use NeoOffice rather that the normal OO. Hopefully they can work together. I don't know how much of the NO interface could be merged back into OO.

    How do these AdBlocker things work then? Do they remove images that have "ad" in their name or come from a certain set of companies? I put a button in an IE tolbar once that did sh!t. If I ever get bored I might have a go.

    I think everyone in our company has a Windows Mobile Smartphone simply because they sync to our e-mail servers, office apps, etc. I would guess that Apple isn't going for this market or if it is then it just syncs with iLife (stop sniggering). Hmmm ... useful.
    Just as their computers aren't seen as "Enterprise" neither will their phones be.
