    The seventh guest will pay a lot more, and will arrive 2-3 months before the flight for extensive training. They will be the official co-pilot for their flight
    ... and if the pilot is anything like pilots I know, the shotgun seat will always go to the hottest chick on board. (If she's a minger, they'll find a reason to shove her down the back and get the hot one up front)

    I honestly believe the US is more likley to use a Nuke before any of the above mentioned. Any of the states using a nuke will result in their elimination - deterance. We also know the US is not affraid to strike pre-emptivley. Plus they've talked of wanting to use 'tactical nukes' against Iran.

    It might have been, but I do not believe you could.

    The organisers of any movement that has the intention of altering the government will be treated as terrorists. Organisers of a large protests are already photographed and followed and have their names and organisations put on 'watch lists'.

    In who's opinion? I just read this here which states:

    General Pete Schoomaker, Chief of Staff of the Army, said his service could not fulfil its mission within the financial limits set by Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

    He wants US$25 billion more.

    Not more money, more consistant money
    Then they better get into population control. They need the population of 'disposible income' (18-32 YO's) to continue to grow at a steady rate. Not sure if you noticed, but the tail end of the baby boomers created generation Y who levelled off the numbers for a few years (average family went from ~2.4 kids to ~1.8). That 'dip' will grow older as the population ages, but right now its falling into the range of their target market.

    This is mainly due to the high level of suckage by today's "musicians". Has anyone done a study that includes that correlation? Also I've built my collection the point where I have almost everything I want already. How does that figure in?
    iTunes reported on 12 Sep 06 that they have sold 1.5 billion songs through their onlines store! No wonder CD sales are down!

    Not sure if anyone has pointed this out already, but Boing Boing reported on this a while back.:
    After a year in the making... researching, number crunching, layouts, stock gathering, and lots of procrastinating, i am proud to say it is finally done... Death and Taxes: A visual look at where your tax dollars go.
    If this guy can do it, then the government probably can. Heck - someone just pay this guy $60,000 a year and hire him some staff, give him an office and your done!

And what if I told you I know plenty about WWII (Having studied it n'all). And raise your hand if you thought that I might just be pointing the finger at it being the Americans invading France? - ok, no? No one got the 'A' in aol bit.....

    Oh and prison = GTMO (sorry for not making it clear enough) Perhaps I should have mentioned it was a joke I guess rushing a post in an attempt to be 'mildly lame' before leaving work wasn't the smartest thing I did today.

    At $0.25/kWh, $9 is 36kWh. You would have to pass 432kW of power. At 120, 240, 480 and 600 volts, this would be a current of 3600A, 1800A, 900A and 720A, respectively.
    So, you're saying there wont be a USB charging adaptor...?

    ...sort of. My idea is to have two real people think they are talking to a bot, while each thinks the other is the bot. In the example you showed it is clear one of them is actively pretending to be a bot. But thanks for taking the time to dig that gem up.

    I use No Script a firefox plugin. Not sure if this protects against this kind of thing (anyone?). No-script lets me chose who's scripts are run by domain and I see plenty of sites trying to run in-browser scripts from third party domains. I leave all scripts off unless something doesnt work then I just allow the primary domain - if I trust it.

    Can any web Guru's tell me if No-Script protects against what is outlined in the OP?

    I'd like to see one of these website claim they have an AI bot, but actually join two users together. Then post the conversation somewhere.

    I'm sure the conversation would be just as random as a person-bot chat with two people trying to out-trick each other and all.

    It appears they want to make the money back selling the games. Gizmodo are reporting a projected increase in game prices to as much as $100 a game - the reason: Increased Dev Costs. So yeah, buy a PS3, but mortgage your house to get some games.

    Once you help somebody fix windows you become their bitch for life and they call you at least once a week because they broke something or another.
    Hear hear. I aggree 100%. I've installed Ubuntu on the wifes laptop, and the extent of my assistance is in the region of telling her not to worry about the Windows Vector file format exploit (or latest virus) because it cant affect her computer.

    My maintenance since then has gone from about 1 hr per week running virus scans, anti-spyware etc to about once a month glancing over her shoulder to remind her she might to click the update icon cos there are some new features available.

    I also thought Linux was taking over the world.... and my first thought was to "welcome our new open source overlords"... but then I thought "WTF? That is crazy". Linux cant be taking over the world, it's probably just after the free beer that everyone is talking about.
