2D is still popular in the US it's just for casual gaming now. Look at Xbox Live Arcade or Nintendo's Virtual Console. Most mobile games are still 2D and a lot of the flash games I play at work are 2D. Most of the games on the DS are 2d and the DS sells 400,000 units per month. These games are still fun, but they just don't get the spotlight and media attention anymore.
With all that content are you actually using it all? If it's all video, are you watching it all? I know people who are addicted to downloading. One friend downloads music that he never has a chance to listen to because he's downloaded so much.
Calling Thunderbird an "Outlook Replacement" just shows they have no idea what people use Outlook for. Outlook Express replacement, sure. That's being generous. I would say that Express still beats Thunderbird.
This is true and a good method as long as I didn't pay for the movies or if my harddrive failed there was a way to redownload all of them, kind of like Xbox Live Marketplace allows.
According to the article the protesters went from hundreds to about 100,000. The best people to stop the oppression are the people being oppressed. Sure its nice when outsiders help also.
I live here as well. Not New Zealand, but here and I have to tell you that the government is not so great as well. When is the constitution wiki coming out?
This is true. Remember that guy down the street who doesn't take care of his non-flying car? Now he will have a flying car that he doesn't take care of and it will most likely breakdown as he's flying above your home.
These vehicles should only be used by emergency personnel, like a flying Ambulance or firetruck, if those every became viable. A flying cop bike would even be useful.
I meant the ones from the 1970's. Why would I mean episode I, II, and III? Hayden Christensen was great and should have won an award for his role as Lord Vader. Annnd scene.
Though that is somewhat true, the problem with the AO rating is that major retailers won't stock your game. People believe that if your average gamer can't pick it up at Wal-Mart then word of mouth won't help it succeed. In Manhunts case, it would probably be an interesting test to put the game out as is and sell directly from their site. If it did great, then hopefully the game industry could turn the tables on retailers especially stores like Wal-Mart.
I voted with my wallet. I canceled all my services from broadband to phone service. I had to write a letter to Slashdot and the editors there are posting this for me. Thanks in advance.
"...it has leg restraints and thigh bars..."
OH BABY!!!! Tie me down!!!
I just want to know if taking a dump produces such a force coming out that it would send an astronaut from the toilet seat?
I don't watch them anyways because they are the same old debates. The point is that it would be nice to hear different points of view. A better solution would be to start a third party debate forum. A place where only third party people can debate the issues.
The fact that every post primary debate only has TWO parties represented and doesn't include ANY of the viable third party candidates is of great concern . ..
I believe the third parties were at the 2004 debates, so lets not make it seem like they don't participate. Weren't the Green party and Libertarian party candidates in the back of a police car outside the building holding the debates. The two parties have locked all the other parties out. Welcome to America says the sign.

Maybe with the possible Writers Guild strike, there will be a new movie and TV industry that emerges that will be more digital friendly.

You can use an electric warming blanket. Just hook it up to the cigarette lighter.

awesome post. short, sweet, and makes a great point. You've got to love the righteous man who hides behind anonymity. It shows real balls.
I wouldn't say the site is pro-piracy, but more anti-corporate-bullshittiness.
I bet this is what it is. Bungie talked about this issue with their call signs for Halo 3 and how they didn't want to get sued.
I was thinking it look more like a vagina. "Welcome to the womb."

I was thinking we could send the first three movies and pretend they never happened.
That's the problem, people weren't turning their hats backwards. Don't they know it's like a switch.
I don't know, with a name like Anonymous you're bound to be flagged.

I was wondering the same thing. It's $50 a month in north Florida.
. . . and it said "Satan is good, Satan is my pal. I want to kill everyone."

Too bad we can mod up mods for being funny.
