It's not stupid or arrogant. It's simply stating that we need to stop bitching about who is causing global warming, nature or humans, and think of ways to not die from it. That's all we have is debate about global warming, but no solutions to fix it or to adjust our living conditions to live in it better.
I've been telling people this for years. The smog in L.A. is a natural cycle not manmade, give it a couple more years and it will go away. Proving that global warming is caused by man is like trying to prove that cigarette smoking causes cancer.
But Ben Affleck says the reason his movie Dare Devil or Gigli didn't make a lot of money is because of piracy. Piracy is bad for everyone from the actors (making millions) down to the guy who sells you popcorn at the movies (making hundreds). I for one say forget all those anti-DRM organizations and keep pirating these 2 great movies.
I'm guessing the iPhone will continue with mobile gaming and not video game play that you see on a DS or PSP. From what I've seen this thing has no buttons. So adding a directional pad and 4 button set up on a touch screen won't catch on. I see Zuma, Tetris, and Bejeweled being played on it. I doubt we will see Castelvania or a FPS. Which is too bad because it would be nice to have one device that does all of this.
I hear that Mel Gibson trademarked iHateJews. It's an Apple product that gets you slightly drunk so you can start hating Jews and blame it on the alcohol.
I don't see a problem in telling the 360 which account the movie is associated with. If I go to a friends house and I want to show a TV show that I bought how else is the 360 going to know which account to download it from?
You download the video and you can view it on your console with any profile. In addition, you can download and view any video on another console as long as you're signed in to Xbox Live®with the profile you originally downloaded it with.
This is from xbox.com. So as long as your family member had a 360 you would be able to download the movies you purchased on their 360.
No you can actually download it as many times as you want. The reason is because the current 360 HDD is only 20GB, so in order for consumers to keep buying more TV shows, they'll need to delete their old ones. The movies is where I would like to see them change. Currently you can only rent them, not own them.
I'm just following the model of downloadable music, like iTunes. I'm also looking at YouTube and other video sites. Seems more of what consumers want. Xbox360 is doing surprising well with their downloadable TV shows and movies for rent.
The 20GB HDD won't be an issue with PCTV when the new Xbox360 roles out with HDMI and a 120GB HDD. Thanks M$ for screwing your current xbox customers. There better be a good trade-in deal.
Who says they have to be stored on our harddrives? Look at the xbox360 and what they are doing with TV shows. You can buy the show and store it on your 360 HDD if you want. If you delete it, then you can always download it later. I like the idea that my library is stored online. If my apartment burns down I don't lose it, if I move I don't have to move them, and I don't have to worry about the format war. And you don't have to wait that long to watch them because you can start playing the video after 2 minutes of downloading, so you're watching it as it downloads. Lets just hope they change their movie rental policy to movie purchase.
Plus you also have other people doing the same, like Sonic Solutions and Apple. Downloadable content will end the HD format war or at least give them a hard slap to the face so that they will move to ending it.
Exactly what ThinkWeak has said. The problem is that people are getting together on private chats or at each others house and getting on ranked games that way. When one person dies, they can cycle through the security cameras and tell his/her teammates where the enemy is. Any form of spectating should definitely be removed from ranked games. I think private chat should be disabled during a ranked game to prevent any form of cheating.
I have to agree. People act like they can never play with their friends on GoW. I'm just glad they are fixing a lot of the problems that actually cause real disadvantages, like not being able to communicate with your team or sticking someone with a grenade from 5 feet away.
I just hope they fix the glitch where you can't stop shooting. Or if you are knocked down on execution and someone kills the last enemy as you are being revived then you can't move on the next round. You can shoot, but you are stuck to the ground.
Major Nelson has an interview with a designer for Shadow Run, which will be a cross platform game. He said they were surprised that the people on the console had more of an advantage than the people on PCs. But now they've tweaked it so that if you jump on a PC or a 360 you won't be able to tell if your playing against someone on a PC or 360.
Luke whines and rants, but he's right. Down with microtransactions and long live Elite Beat Agents. Shane has Nintendos balls on his chin, not sony. He didn't even open his Sony Playstation till a month after he had it. I hope the new owner doesn't touch 1upyours because that's a great podcast.
That sold websites to small to medium sized businesses, but they did it like a telemarketing company. They were told it would be a trial period and if they didn't like it then they could cancel at any time. The company made lots of money because a lot of the businesses totally forgot about the website and wouldn't know they were being billed until the next quarter when they saw the bill. Some businesses were billed through their business phone company and wouldn't even notice the charge. My friends in customer service said it was stressful because they were required to retain an insane amount of customers and the customers would just go off on them. The company got sued several times, so they ended up audio taping the customers saying yes to the website trial.
What you don't like watching people have sex in the water, where you can't see whats going on? Is this really the video that's causing an uproar? Brazil seems like a lame place to visit.
The movie industry still makes tons of money, they just want to make more or want something to blame when Daredevil doesn't do good. It can't be that the movie sucked, because they already explained to the investors that its going to be a great movie and that paying Ben Afflick millions will only make the movie better.
Always look to the porn industry. Where is the porn industry at right now? Still on DVD and downloadable content. Downloadable content is the future. Sing it with me "Downloadable Content is the way to go."

I wonder if we'll see a Thunderbird 2.0 before FF3? It's in Beta, but it feels like it gets less love than the FF.

Looks like everyone will need to buy Red cameras to get the resolution needed.

You've got to explain this "crazy frog" insult because I've got the urge to use it now, but being from the US the meaning is lost on me.

I don't think my boss at work is going to let me watch a video cast, but he don't mind if I listen to a podcast. "Oh boy."
It's not flamebait if it's true. Damn fanboys.
They still have Yahoo! Answers to do all that ranting now.
