You are correct. Games now get patches and if you want to play an old xbox game on the 360 you'll need to go live so it can download the proper emulator to run it. (of course that's if the games on the 360 list)
As quickly as fads change today, I'm amazed that Myspace is getting so much attention still. I'm just glad that spinners are going out of style. Those were a horrible trend to start with.
They should make a Star Trek show that is realistic. The crew never fights other species, but instead are constantly doing maintenance work on the ship. The whole show takes place only 200 miles from Earth because that's as far as they can go before something goes wrong.
It can start off with a captains log, but there's a computer error, so he never gets to complete it. Instead he calls IT to fix the problem. While that's going on the viewer is taken to the engine room where there are all sorts of problems.
I see it as a drama/comedy. There could even be a sick bay that is constantly busy, but the doctors have enough time to have love triangles and all sorts of personal drama amongst the already suspensful disasters.
I work at a mobile content company making music ringtones, video ringtones, and wallpapers. I don't own a cell phone and have never owned a cell phone. I don't even know how to work one. I doubt they'll do anything about it. Look at the popular machinima Red vs Blue. They used Bungie's Halo game without permission from Bungie, who is owned by Microsoft. Bungie even let them start selling DVD's for their Red vs Blue series. I bet Microsoft will take the high road and let it be.
I really enjoy letting the marines in Halo 2 do the driving because they kind of understand that it's bad to get near cliffs, but they kind of don't understand it as well. The MC does the driving from here on out.

My brother-in-law thought it was total crap that the old lady try to get him in trouble for having a sticker on his car for a political candidate she didn't agree with. He thought it was awesome when her plan kind of back fired and caused the removal of stickers for the political candidate she was most likely in favor of. He doesn't agree that one party should be censored, while another isn't.
There is too much political tension in this country. People online are even entertaining the idea of a civil war. It's getting out of hand and people need to step back a little and remember we are all citizens of the same country. We aren't enemies.
My brother-in-law was working for this insurance company during the 2004 election and he sported a John Kerry sticker on his personal car. Well a customer saw him walking to his car during work and confronted him about it and asked him to remove it, but he refused since he owned the car and it had nothing to do with the company he worked for.
The next day at work they held a company meeting and asked all employees to remove any political stickers from his car. He thought it was total crap until he saw that a majority of the employees were Bush supporters.
I know the feeling of having to hide your political beliefs. I live in Bush Country and everywhere you go its anti-liberal this and stupid dems that.

I likes the Google Calendar as well. Very useful. I also use Google Notebook a lot. The spreadsheet I'm still kind of trying to find a use for it in my daily life.
Give it time. They are constantly updating the Google Spreadsheet. When it first came out it was very weak. Now it could hold up against MS Works Spreadsheets. It even has Freeze Pans, which I don't think MS Works Spreadsheets has. In a year from now that web based program will be very good.
I've found a source that would allow wi-fi users to power all the appliances in their home. It is called the Broadcast Energy Transmitter. It takes energy and allows you to transmit it through the air without affecting anything in its path. Now if we can only take it from the Joes.
