The space where the data was hosted was in a public space. The problem was that the ex-chair put the private files in public space. Since then, the IT dept. responsible for the business dept. (not our central IT Services) has since made all of those files unavailable to unauthenticated users.
The update server won't be issuing patches until 1.5 is released. Until then, it distributes full installations of Firefox. The new version with the IDN fix hasn't been released yet. The "patch" they released is just a workaround.
I don't think I'll need a directory of 10+ batch files to repair Firefox's update mechanism like I have for Windows Update.
Re-registering DLLs, reinstalling multiple versions of XML parsers, setting security descriptors, clearing BITS cache, etc. The number of ways for Windows Update to become broken is amazing.
I know Toledo has access to lots of great U of Michigan apparel (I'm from Sylvania), but you don't really want to get yourself shot in Columbus. It's just not worth it;)

I just got my SL-5500 a week or two ago and I've had a lot of fun with it. I flashed it with OpenZaurus and bought a SD card and a Linksys CF Wifi card (WCF12) for it. I wanted to put the newest packages on it, but the package manager refused to install to my SD card. After some research, I stumbled upon the Hentges ROM. After installing that, I tried out CardFS. CardFS is a default install containing a lot of very useful programs. It's designed for people with extra storage space on their CF/SD card. It made everything much simpler. Check out the screenshots for it.
Some of the things I've done with it recently: - Connected to my desktop via VNC - Used GAIM at work while all of our machines were down because we were moving offices - Used it to ssh to my machine to monitor my X10 logs while outside of the house to see the range of the X10 motion sensors

The server where the file was stored was meant to be public. It ended up on that server instead of the private one by mistake.
Yep, Miami also switched a few years ago. We use Banner IDs from our SCT Banner system.
We were here first :P
The data was from Fall of 2002. I expect a lot of them have graduated since then.

Additionally, talk required/requires the receiving party to "answer" the call. I think "write" would be more of a instant messenger.
Yeah, I guess some people "choose" Microsoft, but that's their problem.
;)
Or for some of us, their problem is our income

Miami University (in Ohio, we were here first, damnit) accepted 7. They already started class last Friday.

So I guess Mac BSD X is out too ;)

Last month the International Federation of the Phonographic Industries (IFPI) urged Russian authorities to take action against AllofMP3.com.
But Moscow prosecutors will not take legal action because Russian copyright laws do not cover digital media, according to news agency Tass.

Sadly this type of post is starting to be normal here. Youo know what it means and you're just being nitpicking.
;)
Who is "Youo" and what does being a nitpicking mean?
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
He doesn't seem as evil as people depict him to be after I read this.
Some profit is better than no profit.

What if we made a site that mirrors /. by way of RSS, and had it automatically remove dupes and/or let people mod articles up/down?
1. GPS built-in to laptops. So you can use mapping software more easily on the go.
Although this isn't a laptop, my Garmin iQue 3600 is a Palm PDA outfitted with a GPS and fantastic mapping software. They also have a newer model.
Take note of the post subject, "Non-security fixes in Firefox 1.0.5."
