    Many of the older cities on the east coast are losing over 50% of the water they pump to leakage. Often you will here of a water main brake only to tind out that the pipe was made of wood and over 150 years old. Most water dept. consider these levels of
    loss exceptable, considering the cost of digging up Boston or Phily.

    at my last job I used to get 75 spams a day.
    (and 50 all-user internal email's to reply to a
    direct question)
    but at home I get 0.
    it almost makes me feel un-loved.

    Maybe you find human interaction at the Wawa store, me, I just stop for milk on the way home from work.
    If I want human interaction I turn off the TV, and
    talk with the kidz and wife. Or go for a bike ride with friends. I don't look for satisfying relationships at 7/11.

    These shop cameras are not to stop outside criminals, but to stop employee theft. Just as the IT dept. running network siffers and "checking" your email, are trying to stop employees from stealing bandwidth.

    I have had excellent coverage in my travels (Tx, Co, St. Louis,Il, Ca. etc.), but it's funny that there is a deadzone 1 mile south of where I work, in Moorestown NJ.

    why not boot ftom a tftp server?
    no need for cdrom/dvd, disk drives etc.
    lower power needs.
    just a CPU, and enough ram for the
    os and job at hand.
