    But, for the truly paranoid, you have to bypass or trick the controller to also overwrite the remapped bad sectors. That's not trivial a task, or, more precisely, it depends heavily on the controller's firmware and drive model.

    It was my teachers, and my relationship with them, that made the difference in my life, and that is what I remember.

    Bingo. You remember the teachers that made positive impacts on your life, for example:

    • The teachers that try (even if they don't succeed) to bring out the best in you.
    • The teachers that cater to different learning styles.
    • The teachers that let you do things you probably shouldn't (as in the parent post)
    • The teachers that make class fun (What exactly a "fun" class *is* is open to interpretation, of course, and I would hope that would vary from person to person)

    Indeed. The Shop Vac doesn't have filtration anywhere near what is required for fiberglass particulate. All it likely did was fill the air with whatever the shop vac sucked up.

    These are trades are done on a firm's website, with US$ and BTC balances stored on it. It's totally out of the hands of the bitcoin system except for deposits to (and withdrawls from) accounts on the site.

    Though, to be fair, beyond potential abuses of the system, I think the ability to track traffic patterns in realtime on just about any roadway, and with more granularity than FM-based radio receivers can, is pretty neat. Maybe it would be better if *everyone* had access to general speed data on high-density roadways? (Not individually so as to prevent tracking to-the-home, but the prevailing speeds per street or length of roadway)
