The truth is you either need to be outrageously awesome and do something that changes the way we use computers (very unlikely), have an intense amount of luck to make it in or be a complete slob. I can speak from experiences when i say some people simply dont deserv their positions, and you see this alot in large companies. Other then that the only true way into a good corporation is to buy the management drinks at a bar or know someone lol
I feel your pain For some reason everyone in my family seems t odo the same. And yes now it is just purely a chore. I find that for my immediate family (parents and sister) i will fix theirs and just lock them down to normal practices. As far as my aunts and uncles it got so bad a while back ago that they would bicker about their computers to each other in the office they worked in. They got so bad the ywould call me while i was at work and bicker to me on the phone. I finally later discovered that a price tag of 200/hr for them would solve the issue.
I can really go for a starbux right now but i dont think we have time for a gentleman's late........

How is it not fair? What about bandwidth charges for the network? THe time that he took away from some engineer's life to get up at 2am to go and mitigate the attack? what about all the people who were affected simply by his attacks? Who cares about the website..... This should be a lesson for all the script kiddies out there. i think the sentence should be 5 years..... this guy is not a hacker... hes just another person who got a computer for christmas and learned some tricks.... now he thinks he is all so powerful and think hes the best developer in the world.....
I guess everyone in the us will just save this thread so rather then not being able to get you with us jurisdiction on the server.... we just have proof of you talking about it on slashdot
