It's a fluke that Apple isn't an entity yet that's trafficked around by a conglomerate of hustlers trading on it's brand value and reputation, like Atari, Commodore, Polaroid, RCA, etc.
Thugs don't eliminate reality by murdering people who point it out.
It is interesting how you wax nostalgic for a past of gangster organizers killing those they oppose.
No, the idea of a 'strike back' does not come from some bosses' scheme. It would just be ordinary people taking the street back from a minority of organized thugs.
Musk made almost his only real profit while operating PayPal, whichh is a 'useful' entity but also a far shadier version of 'banking' than most banksters engage in.
Musk peddles hopes and dreams. He markets hype to believers in a dystopian future; his hype provides the illusion of a way out of the percieved dismal fate.
I mean, damnit, it is not that difficult to see the obvious.
The 'cross play' will of course be with the 'new' version of Minecraft that Microsoft has emphasized since they purchased Mojang. They are dead-set on marooning the Java version that most people I know play on. Which is actually and authentically cross-platform, running on any platform with a JVM.
You'll need to buy a new car, with the wireless charging dashboard. Which will be obsolete in two years when Apple comes out with a new wireless charging protocol and the screen on your gadget reads 'unsupported device'.
No, the resin will be beneath a layer of glass and metal. To make it seem like it's not just a bunch of components glued together. Apple is fairly good at the appearance-design aspect of their product.
We have more freedom in the US. A 'general strike' would trigger a 'general strike-back' and the clowns with the picket signs would discover what a minority they are. It would be very disappointing for it to come to that, but that's how the deal would go.
The fact of 'caught using' being a thing shows the real problem. Who cares what we use? Why it it so important to visibly be using a particular companies gadget?
It's called Continuation Engineering. I worked for a major appliance controls OEM. There are engineers within the company whose job is to cave cents of cost off of $4 controls and components. If it lasts too long, it's a candidate for cost reduction engineering.
Fanboyism is supposed to be like that. This is the nerd equivalent of competing bands of football hooligans singing their songs. It can be incoherent, the bluster effect is what counts.
All Intel has to do is rest on the laurels of their market share. It doesn't cost them much to let their salescritters tussle with the AMD salescritters.
AMD are the 'professional wrestlers' of the CPU market. Playing to their band of fans with blustery stunts and imagery. Perhaps their parts have merit. I certainly appreciate the AMD processor in my Acer Aspire One netbook. It was inexpensive. I am pretty sure one of my first motherboards ever had an AMD 8088 processor chip. Second sources keep prices down.
Wasn't lynx written in curses? I guess it's open source so I could just look.

You don't "rely" on it. You use it as a bullet point.
In Musk-world, any investor who is dissatisfied is a 'short seller.'
Just one component of the illusion being spun.

It's not going to happen, though.

The best way to win them over is not to call them retarded.
They are being edgy little rebels.
Without hoologans at demonstrations, there would be nobody to tear gas, load into busses, and haul to jail.
You're being ridiculous. Please cut it out.

The gladiator bluster is a little dumb, though.
Most people drive their car to and from work. A small fraction of automotive traffic would require the Supercharger network.
