The courts only help corporations and richer people now... rule of law, precedents, constitution, ethics, morals, sense of fairness are all gone. That being said, I do agree with this ruling. I just don't expect the courts to have helped this woman even if she was totally right.

Write in is something for your local HOA or perhaps school board if your ISD is small enough. What is needed is better organized 3rd parties and legislation to compel TV and other media to let them join the debates and receive coverage. Sorry for the top post, but the discussion below seems to be missing some critical information. High resolution webcam is an oxymoron. Yes, your cell phone has 2-10 Mpix sensor, but that is for STILL photography, and even that is not good on a cell phone. At 10 Mpix capture the shutter must remain open a LOOOONG time and the image is usually blurry without a tripod. Now, when you are talking video capture, there is no time to leave the shutter open. Higher Mpix is the enemy of good video, the light available for each pixel will be too low. So, the Logitecs keep making that same VGA camera that works pretty good for video, but not so good for still. This does not even get into what would happen when your high def, high bit rate data stream hits the "internet zone". you will lose packets and the video will crash completely. It's not as simple as it seems.

The only way to win here is to keep voting out incumbents until we find some who will reverse this trend. Those who would take our rights will run out of electable people sooner rather than later. BTW, I live in US and we have the same problem/responsibility. We can also write letters to our elected officials, and I do, but I feel they fall on pretty deaf ears. Voting out the scoundrels is the only "voice" they hear. To me, a good result would be when 80-90% of the incumbents lost the election. Rinse, lather, repeat. They are actually in favor of cars going faster than the speed limit.
