If I remember correctly, Google did not have to advertise their services for being a search engine, gmail, calendar, etc. They simply put it out there and word of mouth did most of the work for them, or people using one of their services (search engine) saw some blurb on the page about their newest service and checked it out then. This may also work to get people to notice Android. However, in this case they're also tied to the hardware that supports them. The phone manufacturers will probably be pushing their "Google phones" to the masses in full blown advertising. However, one thing that I think will sway many people their way is if they actually realize their goals of opening up the cell phone industry so that apps for their platform be allowed to run on any android phone, on any carrier. That will be the biggest draw, in my opinion.
3 days is crazy.
Fortunately for me, I've never had to wait that long. Maybe you did it at a bad time (i.e. maybe they were having technical problems.) I've posted a few videos on there ranging from a short 15 second clip to a 2 minute clip, and all had finished processing and were on my profile within an hour.
The union may help make things worse, but even non-union civil service jobs share the same characteristics. I should know, because I held a job like that for 6 years. Some of my colleagues would do just enough to not get fired (which isn't much) yet still receive the same raises as I did at the end of the year. It makes you feel like the extra effort and work you're putting in goes unrecognized. The "smart" ones scale back their efforts, or move to another line of work.
You're right, but that's not what this is. They say that 10-15% efficiency may be possible in a real application of this, rather than the proof of concept they created (with no mention of it's efficiency.)
"This is a proof-of-concept system that is very inefficient. But ultimately, catalytic systems with 10 to 15 percent solar conversion efficiency might be achievable," said Thomas E. Mallouk, the DuPont Professor of Materials Chemistry and Physics. "If this could be realized, water photolysis would provide a clean source of hydrogen fuel from water and sunlight."
Because it has nothing to do with white noise. It's analogous to the space between different sections of a document, if printed on white paper, those spaces are "white spaces."
Not necessarily, but if you were born in the US you'd be a US citizen regardless of where your parents were from. BTW you don't have to be a US citizen to get a US Passport. However if you weren't born in the US and wanted to become a citizen, you'd have to learn English to take the test.
For the same reasons that you park on a driveway and drive on a parkway. Internet Service is the facility that gives me an Internet connection to the rest of the world, and the ISP provides Internet Service. It is akin to Telephone Service and Electrical Service.
Ah, but it is his "original" lightsaber. The one inherited from Anakin may have been his first lightsaber, but this one is an original creation by Luke.
I've had a 360 since November 2005. I use it a lot and have about 15 games that I play regularly. I also use it to watch DVD's and download little games from live. I even take it with me to parties and weekends in another state. I hope I don't jinx myself by saying it, but so far it's been rock solid. I realized that may be the exception to the rule but I've had zero problems with it.
That name is quite convenient...

Not to mention the possibility of having a beowulf cluster of them...
It's mostly true. "Our biggest asset is our people['s data.]"
Dual Vaginal, Dual Anal?
And people wonder why there is a perception of sexism in technical fields.
Yeah, it's all cmdrtaco's fault...
More like: "Baby, I'm sorry I cheated on you, but I used two condoms so it's alright."
I'm surprised I haven't seen any comments yet with something like "use emacs instead, it has better default colors."

It's especially terrible when you have to pay for it (with higher taxes.)
The only .info site that I visit on a regular basis is actually a useful one for me and many other people that live in NY. http://www.mta.info/

...for someone to come up with a new system to replace the existing, broken one... And then patent it.
This has happened to a human before. It just hasn't been reported in the media. It happened to a friend's mother.
I prefer "that's no moon..." in this situation.
A series of tubes? So it works like the internet, then?
Because using roman numerals for things besides century designations is obsolete.

"Why build one when you can have two at twice the price?"

Wait, there are perks? I didn't get that memo...
