Perhaps its time that we realize that intellectual property is not in the best interests of society
Eh... I cannot say I agree with you. I mean if the IP system was being used properly, the composer would be getting paid for the use of his work.
That said, would totally agree that cases like this prove that people are abusing it. I mean, if you're going to hoot and holler over people using your content without permission, you should be the last person to do the same. This example doesn't really exlcaim "IP is bad for everybody!"
So by your logic 2.6 + 2.6 can only be. 2.6 + 2.6 = 5.2 or 3 + 3 = 6 One must not blindly follow rules because they are there. 2.8 is a very high value of 2 not a low value of 3. Rounding should be used where appropriate. Try real hard not to start rounding when you are adding lots of shit up. You can introduce some very large errors. 2.9 + 2.9 is either 5.8 or 6 If you begin rounding during the calculations instead of at reporting the more calculations you do the more inaccurate your total can become. It can become much more inaccurate than if you round only at the end. But what ever makes you feel good about yourself.
I'd just like to point out that the very next story is about getting hackers girlfriends.
They ALL tell me tales about the "stupid thing" their husbands or wives did last weekend or last month. They claim to be happily married, but certainly don't sound it.
Think for a moment about what type of story is more interesting to tell.
I'm inclined to agree. I mean even the summary says:
MacRumours notes that this update doesn't come with any change list and developers seeing the over the air update get the message that iOS 6 Beta 3 contains some "bug fixes and improvement".
I had a competitor to one of those and... no, it really didn't work out so well. Microsoft's Tablet PC initiative was nice on paper, but what it proved was that you couldn't just build the hardware, the apps had to take advantage of it, too. The tablet you linked to, for example, probably didn't have a touch screen. If it did, it didn't work very well because the UI just plain wasn't designed for it. You wouldn't, for example, resize windows with it.
It was okay for what it was, but it doesn't do what the original poster is asking it to do. In my opinion, it really cannot be done until the software is built specifically for it.
Anyone who does anything productive an iPad ends up buying a case and a bluetooth keyboard, ending up with exactly the same overall use case as a clamshell laptop.
Well.. not exactly. You're absolutely right that during the moments they're actually using a BT keyboard on the iPad that they are effectively replicating a clamshell design, but to even the most hardcore KB user, the iPad's independence of these peripherals still makes it very valuable. Laptops want to be able to do what the iPad does and as time goes by we're going to see more and more attempts at it.
You do realize that the famous shock jo.... radio host you listen to fed you all that so you keep listening to the ads that sponsor his show, right?
Note to mods: Yes, this is off-topic, you'll get no whining from me for modding this down. It's just terrifying to me that many of these ditto-head idiots can legally vote.
1) No, it was boring because it was boring. Did you know that the cameras used to film this movie were the same ones used to film the iconic shots in Bay Watch?
Look at their Kinect. Microsoft did everything they could to keep it from becoming a mass-market device. Why? They could have written a PC driver in 1 day and sold thousands overnight, so why not?
The Kinect isn't there to make money on its own, it's there to sell more games on the XBOX 360. I wouldn't say it's that surprising that they focused on getting it out to the gamers before they eventually released the Windows driver.
So we don't need to discuss this anymore. Copyright infringement is "THEFT"
Are you talking about people downloading music?

Anyway, continue!

We should be viewed as the customers not a product.
Not if they wish to make money.
You're really hoping she goes for balding overweight IT professionals with posters of Slave Leia in their room, huh.

Non-story.

It's called text messaging.
No, it isn't. Stop being a smart ass and re-read his post, then you'll see why.
A blind man teaching an android how to paint?
Wow. AC got pwned.
So... wifi?
Wow. Somebody really wants to start posting at +2. Heh.
They combined more than one chicken vaccine to form a bigger, badder defense against evil?
Go Poultron Force!
Yeah but it's not like you're choosing to read the script over watching the movie.

Androids forums had a million users!!!!! Take that Apple!
To go to StarBucks and work on our screenplays we have to go outside!! Take that, Linux basement dwellers!
It wasn't funny. Damn sure wasn't insightful or informative. Maybe inciteful.
It was both funny and insightful, you just haven't accepted the way it applies to you.
... because I saw it on Star Trek.
A million years? You just the first phrase will be: "I, for one, welcome our future overlords..."
Amusingly that'll also be the first +5 post when Slashdot covers the unearthing of this drive.
Yeah, everyone's a camper.
What I like is the implication that I somehow know what content they're licensed to view so I can okay them torrenting it from my wifi.
