Apparently this acronym used multiple times with different meanings in the graphics card industry. From the Wikipedia article you posted:
NVIDIA Corporation reintroduced the name SLI in 2004 (renamed as Scalable Link Interface) and intends for it to be used in modern computer systems based on the PCI Express bus.
What are these numerous problems? I am on XP all day at work, and use it plenty at home. I very rarely come upon a problem with the operating system. Do you? Or are you merely promoting your anti-Microsoft sentiment? Or perhaps you have it confused with Windows 98?
They won't release the ps3 for 600 retail. There's no way they'll put it out there for more than 400. I personally won't pay over 200, so i'll be waiting a while.
Do you buy your cars brand new too? I always buy games used, unless something is brand new and I can't wait, or bother to search around for a used copy.
I found tiger woods to use the rumble feature very well. When you have a high pressure shot, the controller rumbles in unison with the sound of a heartbeat. It's a pretty cool feature, and I think helps emphasize an important shot. But you're right about most developers not taking advantage of it. Usually it just rumbles when the ground shakes, or you hit something in a game.
The graphics blew me away in those screenshots. I think I am going to go buy a new video card TONIGHT so I can play this amazing game. The textures and models are just so real to life.
DDT or Malaria -- Which is Worse?... after reading your biased 'facts to consider' list, I think you meant to say: "DDT or Malaria -- DDT is worse."
If you are going to approach this article as a discussion piece and offer 2 sides, why give a list of facts which bluntly push the reader in a certain direction? Why not add in some Malaria stats like how it causes about 350-500 million infections with humans and approximately 1.3 - 3 million deaths annually. (these numbers might not be accurate, I pulled them from Wikipedia, but you get the point)
According to Merriam-Webster it is a computer.
a programmable electronic device that can store, retrieve, and process data.
I'm not sure why people are so upset about this. A computer is a generic term which the ps3, xbox, etc... all fit.
I wonder what Slashdot uses...

SLI stands for Scalable Link Interface.
I bet they just sanded the Motorola logo off of another proof and passed it by as their own.

I think EA's Pogo.com does better than Yahoo!
Submitter, poorly-written title and comprehension little
no headphones?
Yeah, it's pathetic. Such glaring typos should not get through so many levels of editing.

They must have gotten that email forward finally. I got it like 7 years ago.
I wanna be a sandwhich too!

I value it less than the $45 per month I pay for RoadRunner.
But if you take a look at what we have -- you know, Spore is innovative game-play, and at the same time it's got great graphics.
who wrote this crap? Maybe it's just this headache I have but this article seemed practically unreadable.
Yep, I was just scrolling through the comments to see if anybody beat me to that comment.

I've only heard of Royal
The 'obvious' tag bit me on the face when I read this.

I agree. Anime is for kiddies.
Not a troll, a valid question. PIs is not an intuitive acronym. And unless yer name is Magnum... don't use it!
