Computers should make our lives easier not the other way around.
That's the reason I find linux is easy to use for server environment and windows/mac desktop. Both platform have their strengths, but the way linux works now(and I don't wanted it to change) it's simply not user friendly when it comes to desktop.
Running 3-4 miles per day, can be very bad for you joins and back. I suggest skipping a day before you exercise, allowing your muscles to heal and rest.
I wish I could get rid of my car, but the truth is we don't have good transportation system. So instead of paying around $50 for bus/metro ride per month, I am paying $400 for car and $150 insurance.
Government and Military contracts are all buying systems with XP now (NT4.0 is not longer supported), and my company is forced to "upgrade" our software/firmware for the new windows which is completely unnecessary, very costly and time consuming.
This silly, what will stop RIAA from connecting to one of those wireless networks, and pretend to be a legitimate user while logging "illegal" activities.
I think freenet is only way to be anonymous this days.
I saw Event Horizon in Paramount Studio Preview Screening, and the movie was completely different to what was released to the public, so much stuff was cut off that I couldn't even recognize it.
Yes another thank you, I bought capachino machine a while ago, and I stoped going to Starbucks and etc. After this one I will stop going to bars, ohh wait:)
This also reminds me of a Programming Class I took where I had to write a recursive algorithm, It drove me mad, because I could not solve the problem using logic, so I just copied from some book to avoid being institutionalized:)
This is pissing me off, why do I have to pay royalties to music
companies, while I am not listening to their crap. (Britney Spears and etc.)
I mostly buy trance music, that is produced by independnt lables, and outside of USA.
And when I buy blank cd's, I used it for backup purposes nothing else
This brings another question, how hard is to to make new browsers to install piece of software/code/plug_in, with just click of a mouse
on "unknown" by the user's machine file format.
Ofcourse telling the user that particular software
is getting installed, and afterwards play the file.
Any class that requires you to read science fiction is a great class, the only "scifi" that I ever read in school was "1984" which was great but not my type of science fiction.
The movie was made in Russia, but the book is written by a great Polish SF writer Stanislav Lem. Here is more information about him http://cyberiad.info/english/main.htm
There is a lot of Russian books that are getting
published(OCR?) on the net, one thing I stubled on were real stories from Afganistan and Chechen Wars, they are incredible, told by real soldiers not writers. I only found one translated to English, but they're maybe more available.(I read them in Russian).
Thanks to pipeline design every modern CPU is running at 1 clock cycle per instruction, heck there is even an old 8051 type microcontroller that is running at 1 clock cyle/instruction at 50Mhz.
I think a while ago I read that Apple was investing into Samsung specifically for their LCD technology, so I am assuming Apple branded screens are the same once the Samsung sells just with different packaging.
I am self own a 17" LCD Samsung(170T w/dvi), and I am very happy with my purchase.
I hated those damn 5.25 drives, I remember buying
old adventures games(King Quest and etc.), with stack of 20 of those and eventually one of them would not work.
Totally agree with you.

oops,
this should be spelled SPACE BUDDHA
another great group.
ANALOG PUSSY (old sutff) is good too.
CYAN
Greek based trance group, that has Israeli sound.
SPACE BUDDAHA

The key is to increase your distance gradually.

Tell me about it.

Somehow I get the feeling the script was written by too many writers. I just could get the flow of the movie, is it a romance/kids flick/space opera?
This movie suffered from "too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome, , and very bad acting/directing.
Visual effects were great, story was okay but poorly told.

WinXP can group same application in the same tab now, but I still like Win2k better(speed + simple GUI)
I think it looks fantastic, completely different
from anything before, it has this "futuristic"
Kubrik's style, "Clockwork Orange" anyone
And I don't even use macs, but I think I'll buy
one for my mom.

pop-up adds are annoying as hell, but this is another reason for using opera/mozilla browsers:
they let you disabled them.

P.S. from SciFi I recomend brothers Strugatsky books, specificaly Roadside Picnic.
I felt the same way, the story led me to believe
that something extraordinary is going to happens very soon, but it never did.

I felt that too, specially that English guy
and the other officer who couldn't rememmber
alien ship's controls.
They all had the same type of hair, and
