Have you ever read Noam Chomsky's work? Perhaps it would serve to give you a more global perspective regarding international terrorism & who's responsible for what.
I totally agree with the lens being the most important thing.. I got annoyed at what i believe to be B.S. regarding his 'superior' (non existant) sensor.
It also wouldn't have been so aggravating if he hadn't gone to such extremes as saying:
"I have a old 2 megapixel digital camera that will beat the Best 4-6 megapixel consumer camera you can buy today."
I just don't buy it...
Not to mention "Nasa is not about to send the really low grade crap that is available to the cunsumer to another planet. they sent the real deal."
Err... I wasn't aware that nasa had somehow one-upped the current leaders in photo-sensors like Canon, Nikon, and Kodak that spent billions of dollars on R&D.
But whatever... everyone believes what they want. If sensationalist b.s. is good enough for you, then ok! (by 'you' i mean the generic 'you', not necessarily you you):)
I was going to post something pointing out how it was ironic that a person with a sig poking fun at president bush would himself also be rather retarded.
Let me reiterate the 2nd point of my original comment:
Nobody said "anyone"... I think the concern is that the information exists, and there is confusion as to who does and does not have access to the info.
Now, please re-evaluate all of the above provided that you dont know WHO can access such information.
1) Caller ID comparison is silly. 2) Nobody said "anyone"... I think the concern is that the information exists, and there is confusion as to who does and does not have access to the info. 3) Yes.

120,000kmph... What's that... 120,000 miles per hour?
On a less sarcastic note, here's a clue for everyone discussing the gps data/impact blah blah blah:
1) GPS sucks. It takes a long time to calculate speed, not a fraction of a second.
2) Let's say I am heading at 100 mph horizontally. then i magically fall of the bike. My head will not hit the ground at 100 mph. If I do a low-side, we're talking minimum initial impact. If you do a high-side, it's significantly higher, yet still not likely to reach anywhere near 100 mph. The problem is when you hit non moving obstacles like trees, guardrails, houses, etc... Or get run over by cars.
Absolute base price is $27,800 (without destination) for the 325i. Adding the automatic transmission (Which most people do..:( ), adds $1275, for $29,075 plust tax, title, etc. Mind you that's without the common accessories such as leather ($1450), and the Premium package ($3100). Add heated seats ($500), Navigation System ($1800), POWER SEATS ($995), etc. you get the picture.
At my local showroom, it's common to see 3-Series over the $40k mark..
Granted, they're nice cars, all i said is that BMW overcharges and also nickel & dimes you for options
You got a +3 insightful, i got diddly... Perhaps i should start speaking with small words and making my points very so that the target slashdot audience can understand them... Screw subtle subtext & meaning! Time to be clear & blunt;-)
Customer: "Umm hello, i'd like to report my hand stolen".
I'm pretty sure people would be quick about getting the word out that their finger was just chopped off... Unless they were dead, in which case they wouldn't care anyway.
BTW, i myself did not have a kneejerk "nazis are evil" response, i said that to point out to the parent that his post had no value due to its universal applicability, and i chose to the Nazis because i know that his immediate reaction is to say that Nazis are evil, therefore perhaps causing him to understand why his post was... pointless.
I mentioned no "facts"... Aren't you being a little defensive?
I commented on the mentality of your argument, not on any specific facts. I simply pointed out that the your statement was completely meaningless, as it can be applied by any "patriot" to his or her target of patriotism.
I wish i had mod-points....These fucking people are idiots.
FIGHT CLUB.. did anyone see the movie FIGHT CLUB!!
Main character splices bits of raunchy shit into the movies, people get freaked out when they see it, but aren't sure it was really there because it flashes too quickly.
Assuming they log the traffic... And even if they do (haven't RTFA:)) how long would they keep these logs for?... And how much manpower would it take to look into all the fraudulent claims?
This plan just adds a new possibility for committing fraud, and probably the amount of fines you collect, would barely cover the amount of money necessary to police the fraudulent claims.

Hey,

So tell me... where did you get a 'foveon' chip several years ago?
On top of that... 3 colors multiplied by 2 megapixels = the equivalent of 6 'consumer' megapixels.
Now... Current CMOS / CCD sensors on consumer cameras are up to 8 megapixels, with more professional cameras hitting 14 (Kodak for example).
And that's only in the D-SLR style. There's also Medium-format backs which have up to 20 something megapixels in resolution.
So... Please explain to me how your 2 megapixel sensor (which would btw invalidate all Foveon technology) surpasses these much higher res devices.
Thanks
Yeah but apparently you're wrong, as evidenced by this entire article.
Hah..
I was going to post something pointing out how it was ironic that a person with a sig poking fun at president bush would himself also be rather retarded.
HAHAHAHAH It's you!!! :)

No need to be so defensive.
And BMWs do suck, for the money anyways. But maybe i'm just jealous i can't afford one.
Hahahaaha....
;-)

You weren't sugar coating the anti-stupidity medicine... so you must be a troll ;-)
The last one is actually a single 2 gig stick, costs $1175.

By your argument nazi scientists were ok too.
Linux, much lower margin.

ITS A FRIEKIN REFERENCE TO A MOVIE!
I am beginning to get the "point" of this.
It's definitely not going to be a 'host lookup' mechanism.. It's kinda like a search engine
Instead of typing keywords into your "search engine", you type the URI into there...
THEN, all the pages that contain that URI in their page body will be returned as a list.
It's a way to specify data more closely, hence hoping to make for better search engines.
(That's enoguh of me talking out of my ass now)

Agreed..
