The month then day format is much nicer though. Every try to sort a list of files that are similar but have a different date. Good luck sorting them nicely by that date.
You have absolutely no clue about those programs then. Reputable programs make sure 90% get to the people they are trying to help. Just like any reputable charity. If you took the 8 seconds to look that up, you would know those programs are far from worthless. Any donation should be preceeded with checking what the overhead is, many charities abuse that portion of the budget, many do not. Hell even the children sponsorship programs that advertise on tv still make sure as much as possible gets where it should.
You are pretty much making things up...If the charity says "we make sure 90% gets to the child" then no, that money does not go to salaries.
In wisconsin a kid will get nailed for possession of cigs. It was sometimes an issue if they found a pack of cigs in a car that a parent had used recently. some friends got issued the ticket, but it was quickly torn up when the parent said "yeah those were mine" (in some cases they actually were some they werent)
I am willing to bet most states do have possession statues, your particular city might not actually enforce it based on community desires / priority
But wisconsin they do, easy ticket money in my town.
Apparently you never have gone to a bar or club on planet earth.
It is literally impossible to stop every single minor from getting in. No matter how much security it is still a trivial matter to sneak in somehow.
Even a single entrance / exit with a bouncer checking every id will still have problems.
Fine the underager if it is a rare occasion at an establishment, they broke the law. The bar/club is doing their best to stop it, but it is impossible and at that point they should not be responsible for underage lawbreakers.
The thing I noticed about my typing is that in IM I am extrememly fast with relatively correct responses, however I hardly ever use any capitalization.
Well we just "have" to subsidize our own corn industry somehow...because ethanol just wouldnt be as great as every environmentalist makes it out to be...I wonder if any of them ever bothered to look at an ethanol producing plant...
Just because something works doesnt mean it works well...
IE, ethanol works in your engine, causing many problems over the years in the process. It does in fact work during that time, but at a substandard MPG and causing many gasket problems.
the largest cause of gas prices being so high? Oh yeah that stuff.
The US imports a majority of the ethanol from Brazil for mixing with gasoline, currently their is a shortage of that garbage which means higher prices. Ethanol is a pipe dream right now, but forced down our throats. Oil prices dont help the situation, but ethanol is a major cause of gas prices right now. Not to mention the gas companies have about a 100 different blends they have to make for every state and region and even in different counties.
The blending of ethanol with gas is not only worse for the environment, but it destroys your engine, causes a significant drop in MPG. Basicall the entire ethanol gas blend is simply a subsidy to Archer Daniels who crams that junk gas down our throats.
Supposidly pure ethanol is much better, but the mixed stuff should be outright banned. (Ever wonder why Iowa, one of the biggest corn producers for ethanol does not have or want the blended formula).
The US needs to stop wasting time worrying about gas taxes (and taking a nickle off the price) and get rid of mixed gas and come up with a federal standard for gasoline. Enough of the, 5 mile difference equaling different gasoline formula.
If a truck isnt liable for the damage, just go report them for illegal dumping on a highway (usually a $500 fine).
Just go to the police station, sign a form that says you saw it happen, (and you have proof on your car) and they will mail the owner of the vehicle a ticket.
Give me a fucking break, contractors dont buy a lincoln navigator. Assholes who have no care for the environment buy those.
Those should be taxed at a rate so high only someone making 7 figures a year can drive them, because NO ONE ON THE PLANET NEEDS ONE. They are an absolute waste, they waste resources, destroy roads, cause much more damage in accidents, are unsafe...etc etc etc
People that buy monster truck SUVs should be taxed so hard they literally go broke because that is exactly what they deserve.
Yes those people should be penalized if they buy a vehicle that is totally unsuited for any reason in the world (they suck at towing, contractors would never ever use one, they are not designed for limosuine companies)
They are designed to be big on the road and that is it.
is simply a way for elistist movie buffs to claim their superiority. There has always been bad movies, there are currently good movies. Nothing has changed.
To take that further, you could do a statistical analysis of what are common names, birth places and so on. A short 100 word dictionary would probably nail most people.
You forget laziness... Like I am simply to lazy (or really busy) to bother. I know its unsecured but I dont bother with the effort to do anything about it.
That is probably a big factor in people that know what they are doing's inaction of securing their wireless.
Due process involves the courts, in many of these cases (which puts their entire methodology in question and therefore ALL cases) the courts should not even be involved, it should not even get that far. The courts should say "come back when you have some REAL evidence and you have verified your claims"
of course the courts should do that in every case, but particularly in cases where the plaintiff has some serious issues getting things right.
due process should protect parties in legitimate proceedings, the courts should have some recourse against those (and actually excercise what they currently have) to put an end to this shotgun approach that is currently being used.

the patent only covers their incredibly ugly and hackish system.
So you know, GOOD systems can flourish

That is pretty much useless when it comes to IMs.

Good to hear it is covered, but that is exactly the reason you do not want a white surface if there is gonna be a lot of contact with it.

I have yet to see a paper trail in a computerized ballot system that is anywhere near being verifiable.
They are only kind of verifiable if you did a hand recount and every single person kept their receipt (yeah right).

Driving is fun to do, but when you have to do it for 8-12 hours a day, it is "eh" too
Did they license that technique to tomshardware because the system seems familiar.
Gamecube was a failure?
better let NES know that...
sure a lot of mistakes were made, but it was in no way, shape or form a failure.
