    Actually in tony hawk they use a lot of brands for gear which is totally legit and makes the game more realistic than having a bunch of really fake names.

    That is probably the best use of advertising in game.

    Why dont gun manufacturers jump on the bandwagon, "I didnt kill that guy with an gun, I shot him in the kneck with a Desert Eagle Point 5 0"

    Actually no they are not.
    it has become fairly obvious they are using a shotgun approach and hitting an aweful lot of people that clearly did not download anything. The dead person for instance, the person without a computer, the computer that cant even run the software at all etc.

    The fact they managed to file a suit against a single person that was found invalid should put their entire methodology into question and all lawsuits should be dismissed until they have a proven method of verifying the wrongs they claim.

    Sueing people that in no way, under any circumstance actually did the thing you claim should make you instantly liable to the tune of the victim winning the lottery instantly.

    Kids dont need better computers at school, i would go as far to say, they need less computers because they are largely unused as it is. A computer in every classroom was the greatest scam of the 90's

    The stats were done, a very insignificant portion of the people that voted fro nader would have actually voted for Gore. The rest would have voted for someone else or not voted.

    Spot on.

    There honestly isnt a product advertised on TV that I care about, even when I buy one I pick one at random. If advertisers took a chance and advertised new products I haven ever even heard of, then I wouldnt mind and their advertising would be effective.

    But they want the mass market bullshit for crappy products where consumers dont care about or have brand loyalty anyways.

    I jsut bought a new car, I wish I could basically opt out of all car ads for the next 5 years because every single one of them is going to be irrelevant, but thousands of dollars spent on just me to see them over that time will be wasted.

    the Euro is starting to be bigger, but 9 out of 10, 100dollar bills is outside of the US. It is a global currency. so I guess a lot of other people (like the entire global economy) has a lot of faith in the US economy. Many parts of the world, the dollar is prefered over the local currency.

    the massive US debt, yes yes, we have been hearing about it for like 50 years, when is it going to actually make a difference?

    Cause then I will be a part of history, when the government has to open these records (or more likely they are forced open during the next revolution)

    Never ever beleive what the service rep tells you, talk to a commision based sales agent, they will push through anything if it means money for them.

    They will go against every policy. If one guy says no, go to the hungry looking one that is too weak to oversell you.

    Make sure you are doing business with the real cell company and not a reseller, they constantly hose you.

    Well in my area a verbal contract is only valid for amounts up to 1000 dollars.

    And if an agent around here was relying on verbal contracts, they wouldnt ever make a deal because that is just plain stupid. Paperwork is necessary in that industry because it is the largest investment the average person ever makes. I dont want to rely on what someone remembers about an agreement, I want it on paper.

    Um verbal contracts are absolutely NOT valid in real estate. That would be the absolute last place they would be valid in. That is why offers are not valid when there is an accepted offer, and hell they can still fall apart even then.

    I dont know where you got your info from, but verbal contracts are valid in man circumstances, real estate is not one of them

    ie the cost of energy to produce a solar cell...

    if it costs more in terms of energy to produce the cell than will ever be produced by the cell, there is no point. Maybe things have gotten better but that was were solar was a few years ago

    your understanding of currency is stunningly idiotic. the dollar is universal irregardless of oil.

    The coporate world already operates under a "its ready when its ready" system, they just dont realize it.

    They either get the first version that is grossly inadequate, or they wait till the real version is finally released (after being delayed 4-5 times)

    The time frame is the same, the facts are just spun a bit differently.
