Every time I've used this magical phrase, I was told they do not have such a list. I have then spent 5 minutes explaining to the scum on the phone that they are required... blah...blah...blah. Once I told the piece of shit that he obviously had not been trained properly, and he got very defensive. I finally just said, "Are you REALLY happy with the way you make money, and is your mother happy with it?" and then promptly hung up on the bastard.
Of course, not letting her back it up is just plain mean.
It appears that the campus police were wanting to search the hard drive for files that had been deleted. If they had allowed her to back up the files, she could have inadvertantly overwritten the clusters that they wanted, thus destroying the evidence. Sounds like a legitimate concern to me.
I do remember seeing that in the article, but I know that the lineup mentioned on the Discovery Channel was the one coming up.... although, I could be wrong. I distinctly remember it being in the year 2000 or above, but it says above that the last one was 2 years ago, being 2000. Do you remember the dates for the last one? The show mentioned end of April/beginning of May.
I actually remember seeing a discovery channel show on this lineup a few years ago. There are apparently conspiracy theorists who believe that the lineup of these planets will put enough gravitational pull on the Earth that the crust will loosen from the mantel and be able to shift around very easily, causing massive tital waves like in the movie "Deep Impact"
The goal of QC is to distribute a ONE TIME PAD, which makes it different than what you are saying, and in fact makes gumby42's comment make sense, and your's look foolish.

They actually tried something like that against me. When @Home was disbanding, my cable was taken over by Charter. Two days later, my modem stopped working. I called for tech support, and was told that a movie studio had found an ftp server on my ip address with pirated movies on it, so that had suspended my account for a week. Funny thing was I didn't have an ftp server. The only pirated stuff I have is music (about 5 gigs worth) on a gnutella server. I then realized that my ip address had changed at the same time that I was switched to Charter, and when I did a search for my new ip, sure enough there were a few links to my ip address as having a ton of movies. In the end I finally convinced them of what had happened, and they re-enabled my account.
English is my first language, pig latin is my second. I can speak fluent pig latin and understand it when spoken fluently. No, I am not joking. I can even use Google's pig latin translation with no problem, and occasionally do. The only thing I can't do well with it is type. Does this qualify me as being bilingual, or just truly bizaar?
Note: in case anyone is wondering, me and my sister used to go out with large groups of both of our friends, and we practiced pig latin at home so we could have private conversations at these get togethers. Everyone knew we were using pig latin, but we are so fluent that no one was able to learn it from listening to us.
I'll tell you what, I don't really like all the eye candy that goes on in MacOS, but if we can get Gnome or KDE to be as easy to use/learn, it would definately be a great thing.

How come Cheese Tortellini doesn't suffer from the same problems as Mac&Cheese.........
You apparently haven't tried that particular MRE; it does suffer the same problem.
The problem with not being able to prevent noise from escaping is answered in your post: look into
recording booth construction. Some people are not able to make serious modifications like that, if, for instance they live in an apartment / college or military dorm, etc. Placing a noice cancellation device in the closet is the best answer for that situation.
Perhaps he thought that victory was dependent on Bohr's help and the development of the bomb, but he thought those two things assured as well. Mayber he was just trying to set the wheels in motion.
One thing to keep in mind though is how much is this increase needed. I don't see why you wouldn't get the 500% performance increase. But if your users are only using 25 Mbps of the current setup, and there's no reason that you know of for this usage to drastically increase soon, then you might not be able to justify this change just yet.
So now when my girlfriend acuses me of not listening to her, I can just tell her that I didn't hear her because there was an acoustic black hole in the room! And to think, some people think that research like this doesn't do anything to advance mankind!
You used to be allowed to drink on station, and I think you could during Desert Storm, but since then they have changed that rule. The rule now is 21 in the US.
To me this kind of thing really shows the strength of the open source community. I'm sure we've all seen the flame wars that start here over the difference in the licenses, but in the end, we all have a common goal, share the source!
The point was that communist ideals state that every person should be equal in property and belongings, yet the Head of State of one of the largest "communist" countries in the world has much more property than the people.
I think, IMHO, it might help a little in the heat area, because you have a much smaller area to evacuate air from, therefore you don't have to have as many fans.
I heard a radio ad here in St. Louis yesterday soliciting tips from disgruntled employees. It had the tone of "If you want to get back at your boss, report him for piracy!" I really hate radio to begin with, but that was the first time something I heard on it actually made me sick to my stomach.
My dad's company was targeted by this about a year ago. They think it was an employee that left a little before that, but I wonder about that now, because the guy they suspect was always trying to bring pirated and "student" versions of software to work, and the company kept trying to stop him. Their lawyer finally sent the BSA a letter demanding certain things, proof of pirating being the key thing, and they still haven't heard back from them in 9 months. It seems they shut the hell up if you try to stand up to them.

Try this. Look at their fans, and in the URL where it says fans, change it to say foes.

Yeah, and most maps that are used also include the current magnetic deviation, which DOES change with this.
I'm a very big supporter of GW (no flames please), but I still got a VERY good laugh out of this one!
I can. Post the url and I'll see what you're talking about. I've never even seen flash used in af.mil.
In the fight between open source and the feds, bet on the guys with the guns and badges.
I don't know about the badges, but both sides have guns.

I think you have a point there. I've always been terrible at foreign languages, but pig latin came pretty easy.

Next we'll find out sex deprivation helps you live longer too.
So I guess at my current rate, I should live to be about 200 yrs old!!!
