Every time I've used this magical phrase, I was told they do not have such a list. I have then spent 5 minutes explaining to the scum on the phone that they are required... blah...blah...blah. Once I told the piece of shit that he obviously had not been trained properly, and he got very defensive. I finally just said, "Are you REALLY happy with the way you make money, and is your mother happy with it?" and then promptly hung up on the bastard.

The show mentioned end of April/beginning of May.

They actually tried something like that against me. When @Home was disbanding, my cable was taken over by Charter. Two days later, my modem stopped working. I called for tech support, and was told that a movie studio had found an ftp server on my ip address with pirated movies on it, so that had suspended my account for a week. Funny thing was I didn't have an ftp server. The only pirated stuff I have is music (about 5 gigs worth) on a gnutella server. I then realized that my ip address had changed at the same time that I was switched to Charter, and when I did a search for my new ip, sure enough there were a few links to my ip address as having a ton of movies. In the end I finally convinced them of what had happened, and they re-enabled my account.

English is my first language, pig latin is my second. I can speak fluent pig latin and understand it when spoken fluently. No, I am not joking. I can even use Google's pig latin translation with no problem, and occasionally do. The only thing I can't do well with it is type. Does this qualify me as being bilingual, or just truly bizaar?

Note: in case anyone is wondering, me and my sister used to go out with large groups of both of our friends, and we practiced pig latin at home so we could have private conversations at these get togethers. Everyone knew we were using pig latin, but we are so fluent that no one was able to learn it from listening to us.

I heard a radio ad here in St. Louis yesterday soliciting tips from disgruntled employees. It had the tone of "If you want to get back at your boss, report him for piracy!" I really hate radio to begin with, but that was the first time something I heard on it actually made me sick to my stomach.

My dad's company was targeted by this about a year ago. They think it was an employee that left a little before that, but I wonder about that now, because the guy they suspect was always trying to bring pirated and "student" versions of software to work, and the company kept trying to stop him. Their lawyer finally sent the BSA a letter demanding certain things, proof of pirating being the key thing, and they still haven't heard back from them in 9 months. It seems they shut the hell up if you try to stand up to them.
