    Well, in theory the interest is supposed to cover the inevitable failures to repay, and the banks are supposed to do a good job ov checking things out in order to ensure that the person taking out the loan was likely to be able to actually pay it back. the problem is that the banks were reselling these loans with worthless assertions of quality. The bank got the money from the closing costs and didn't have to deal with the fact that the loans were worthless. Given the circumstances, they had no reason to actually verify anything.

    you can save a lot of money by hiring the person directly instead of as a contractor. Of course, that would require them to dismantle the entire contractor infrastructure that is currently in place, and that would hurt corporate profits, so nothing will ever happen.

    but not all policeman are corrupt eveng given the amount of temptation they are presented with. while you may be willing to whore yourself out to whoever pays you the most, most people are actually ethical and interested in doing a good job. Instead, morally challenged individuals like you keep rehashing the same old lies and hope that you can waste so much time of your betters that they will leave, allowing you to pretend that you have won some wort if intellectual debate.
