I'm thinking my turn-of-the-millenium cellphone's VoIP/SIP app had to be running, but don't recall any issues like regularly pinging a network or incurring a lot of data-traffic. Of course, I mostly used my phone to listen to MP3s while biking, so might just have been lack of usage.
It's a lot more than being able to move. Being an EU citizen allows you to live and work in any of the EU countries. If you're a British passport holder, you've lost a lot more than free movement.
You're not guaranteed the right to live anywhere - many EU countries will issue you a temporary permit, and then later grant you a permanent one if they see fit to do so. On the right to work, yup, that's pretty much spot on, so have fun getting a job somewhere, and then get told you're not getting your permanent resident's permit.
In the world of computer engineering, the frustration thresholds are usually defined as 0.1, 1 and 10 seconds. 5 seconds is way above the second frustration threshold.
Interesting, I've always taught it as 3 sec = perceived as slow, 7 seconds = people will go do something else.
Is that 37 million users in the US? I.e. 11% of the entire(!) population? Might actually turn out to be 2 (two!) quarters per US, while Ashley Madison may be liable in other countries too...
Please clarify: what are the carriers, and how are they complicit?
Note: Mobile Service Providers (if that's "carriers") in Europe are not operating in manners similar to those in the US, and in some countries locking phones to a provider is even illegal.
Just a reminder that if you're getting shite quality from Chinese manufaturers or ODMs, it's because that's what they've been told to make - they have no issues making quality products, and no qualms about making crap when requested.
... and letting people live their lives on the safety net - which is supposed to be there to catch people who occasionally slip.
That would mean that there's a way up from the safety net
43-48 million Americans live in poverty 564 thousand Americans are homeless (44% have some paid work) 20-odd million Americans pays more than 30% of income on rent, and almost half of renters are at risk of not being able to pay next month's rent 643 thousands go bankrupt from medical expenses, every year
There are just holes too deep for many Americans to dig themselves out of, and the system is seemingly not geared to help them.
Google will display ads as part of the results, either to its own services, or to companies who bought them. On some platforms (mobile), there'll be cases where no result aren't from either.
Sry, I thought it was obvious when placed next to "single country" - no one outside of the USA can access it, so to us it's a fair bit more "obscure" than Netflix:)
I'm sure TrumpCoin will take over and everyone will leave BitCoin behind.
(Yes, TrumpCoin exists....)
1) Whooosh
2) There are small signs in the bee-hives saying "bee bread"?
Bees consume pollen. Some even call it 'bee bread'...
How....how do we know? Who speaks "Bee" ?
If your business model relies on not alienating Nazis, then there may be bigger problems than your profit/loss statement.

Or did you mean U.S. or Canadian football field?
Fairly sure FIFA's regulations for the size of a football field is same no matter what country: 100-110m by 64–73 m
Not sure if joking .... My firefox likes to hover between 110% and 150%.
ST:DS9 took about until the middle of 3rd season before it got good - sorta coincided with certain people having left DS9 to work on ST:Voy
I thought our little group was the only one referring to it as the Jar-Jar Star Trek universe :)
But then, looking at your sig, I'm starting to think you're me .... much confuzzled.

Countries with privatized post offices: Denmark, Sweden, Germany
And people in DK are apparently having constant issues with postal services :/

"In Killary America, not 200.000 die from GOP-Care"
Like that?
Does anyone think it is a coincidence all these huge fines in recent years are against American companies.
American companies like Gazprom? Or you mean Mærks? ICAP? Eberspächer? Oh, wait, American company LG Display, right?

Seriously - Why no mention of apple
Just checking: Apple also has 88% of the smartphone market, right?

Guess is why Over-The-Counter Paracetamol+Codeine is available in places :)

Why is the figure in Celsius given with scare-quotes? Both Iran and France, and 95% of the world, uses Celsius - not really anything scary about it.
