I also wonder if there is much of a benefit to cloning meat anyway. I'm by no means an expert on clones but don't they take just as long as the "real thing" to reach maturity? I suppose they could only clone high quality animals for the best hauls of meat.. maybe I answered my own question. Any other ideas would be pretty cool though :D

Not to mention how many options you have as far as operating systems and other applications. Anything you can do on a PS3 can be done on a core2duo + 8800GS + 2gb ram homebrew rig. Not the other way around though.

It would help to cut down on the standing waves if people applied the 'join slowly, leave quickly' rule. If you see a queue ahead then slow down to give it time to move before you get there, then as soon as the road is clear accelerate away (to a safe speed). I see waves like this every day and see many people rush to join it so they have to slam on the brakes. When I get out the other side people are leaving huge gaps that slow down the escape of others.

This is why I am a tailgater. If I'm coming out of a pile and nobody is on front of me I fix it real quick. I just punch it until 120MPH (about the safest my vehicle can handle in its current state) or there is a car 5 feet in front of my front bumper.

Not to mention the limits on total physical ram (especially in the Windows world). If I could get an 8GB Ram drive for $400 I would probably do it. 3GB/s transfer rates blow any other currnet storage medium out of the water.

Now compare the price of a motherboard + Operating system + 8GB additional RAM(for windows users mostly) and you see how efficient adding more RAM is.
