    PetaPixel Michael Zhang Exploits Disabled Kids Non-Profit

    Couldn't this qualify as libel? And isn't she perjuring herself by claiming that this individual is violating her copyrights even though it's a clear cut case of fair use? Not to mention the crazy claims she made about the other individual.

    This series of events have been so awkward and strange that I'm seriously starting to wonder if everyone is in it together to troll the internet. How is this crazy lunatic woman a lawyer, really, without even seemingly a basic understanding of the law?

    Someone needs to put this hag in her place.

    So, how many people in open plan offices actually get to enjoy silence? What other stimuli does everyone need to be able to recall to be productive in the workplace? And what about creative jobs? I have my doubts that pure silences is always better to sir your creative juices than listening to something that inspires you.

    Hell, just for programming I feel more motivated to keep pecking at the keyboard when I have a beat to move with. I won't listen to a lot of vocal stuff, but even if I have the opportunity to sit in absolute silence, I think my mind would start wandering a bit too much. Sure happens to me a lot at home when I work on hobby projects. I often have periods of music and no music at home, and I always seem to get more done with the music.

    Kids don't need porn to masturbate. Heck, you'd probably be doing the boy a favor. His imagination will make far prettier girls to him than most websites on the internet will.

    Um. Wasn't her mom also named Queen Elizabeth, and wasn't said mother a queen consort of Ireland? I'm having trouble understanding why that would not make her Queen Elizabeth the Second with her mother also being Elizabeth.

    I will admit my history on this subject is so bad that I could be dead wrong. It has been a great many years since I learned about British royalty and all that.

    Different things mean different things to different people. Who's to say someone watching TV and playing video games wasn't interesting to them? Or do we as a people dictate whether someone can have a greater life expectancy only if they are reasonably sure to do something perceived extraordinary by the general public?

    But a lot of them do target XP, which is no longer supported in either version.

    Uh, yes it does. I said the developer wasn't even getting $39 when the retail price was $60.

    Studios generally make between $6-8 on a $60 game. The rest goes to the publisher.

    I have a feeling there will be enough backlash to reverse this decision. Besides, has anyone seen Visual Studio 2011? They've decided to make it look like a Metro app despite being a desktop application. Looks horrid. I'll stick to 2010 as long as I can if they don't reverse this decision.

    In the back of my mind, I still feel like some lines were crossed though and this isn't exactly the plan.

    Most of the money goes to publishers. The studio makes a fraction on the sale of the game. It wasn't even getting $39 for each copy sold when the game was selling for $60.

    He mentions how she's throwing "Think of the children" down his throat but he seems to have seriously caved to it. Why is he cowering in fear at this woman's insane lawsuit threats?

    I've got the feeling Jay Lee said or did something that he isn't mentioning in the article. It just doesn't make sense since he's the actual victim here, having his copywritten material used without permission, but he was gonna take the blog entry down that talks about this? What leg does this woman even have to stand on to sue him?

    Why are you implying they got them from Google? Does it say they got them from Google? All they need to do is view the search history from his personal computer to find out what sort of searches he has been making on google or any other site.

    That's not a troll, and seriously the desperation you're exerting to prove that it is by posting AC and agreeing with yourself is damn shameful. If anyone is trolling here, it's you.

    Nothing about the linked post sounded like a troll. Suggesting that Microsoft isn't the absolute spawn of Satan and may have done a thing or two right in its lifetime is in no way a trollish statement. It does not take a fan of Microsoft to accept this as the truth. Being a convicted monopolist doesn't suddenly mean everything that comes out of the company is bad.

    If the device is reporting events as it happens (I don't know anything about how these systems work, but I would assume it did?) then why would the EMR be accepting external information regarding time, especially if they mention some EMR systems reject "wonky time". Wouldn't it make more sense to use the time the EMR receives the update as the time?

    This is getting to be too much. Is that screenshot on the article a mockup or seriously what Microsoft is pushing? I'd sooner use Classic mode than sit there and stare at a white box.

    I've never been apprehensive about upgrading Windows (from Win 3.1 all the way until Windows 7) and never been burned (never got around to ME through) - Even Windows Vista I had no problems with after SP1, and even before that, I used third party tools for file coping and such, so it wasn't really a huge issue for me.

    But Windows 8? I'm genuinely concerned Microsoft is turning it into a tablet OS for desktops. I have a feeling I'm going to be like one of those Windows XP holdouts, using a 10+ year OS with no intention on upgrading until I'm absolutely forced to.

    What the hell are you talking about man? It's not as though it has anything to do with Publishing. Putting your game on Origin isn't like getting in bed with EA in the traditional sense. I also think this is a good move by EA to promote people putting games on their service. Considering after 90 games most games wind down in purchases, Origin is practically giving bandwidth to the developers for nothing while letting them reap all the rewards of their launch.
