May not meet all of your needs, but I like the ability to quickly switch between tasks to start/restart a timer. It's also easy to creates tasks/projects on the fly.
I bought my home PC (Dell 400SC server) via their small business website 3+ years ago, but I don't think they differentiate between single users and actual businesses.
http://www.gotapex.com/ also posts regular deals for Dell's Small Business website, which I think enforces that thought.
So this kind of stuff will make Windows faster? =P
From the article:
"In those five years, Apple Computer has turned out four new versions of its Macintosh operating system, beating Microsoft to market with features that will be in Vista, like desktop search, advanced 3-D graphics and "widgets," an array of small, single-purpose programs like news tickers, traffic reports and weather maps."
More than likely because of the way toy guns have to be treated in the U.S., if he wa re-released here he would have a hideous orange cap on the end of the pistol. More than likely the normally black accessories would also have to be changed to some hideous color.
You can still find these from Takara though, for $100+.
In fact, if anything they said there would not be a re-release in the States (i beleive they stated that in an interview awhile back). Currently the only re-releases you will find in the U.S. are key chains (Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and soon two more I believe). There are only rumors that Hasbro will be re-releasing the G1 toys at the mark of the 20th Anniversary. Right now there are some items in the Toys R Us system that appear to be re-releases of Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, but no one has confirmed their existence yet. I check TF websites daily and have begun collecting again since Beast Wars came out, so I consider myself fairly "in the know."
It just makes me sad to see such a bold and completely unproven statement made in a Slashdot headline. If you want G1 remakes now, you'll need to get the Takara versions.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with a few things.
- Loosing items when you give them to the wrong NPC--->Agree
- You have to buy water and food.--->Can be foraged or summoned.
- The boats take too much time...designed to slow you down-->Arguably realistic.
- Money weights too much and cannot be converted on the fly...that means you have to drop you 500s800c to get rid of weight-->Realistic. Otherwise why have money in any form other than one standard type?
- Zones are designed to keep you in the same place...traveling from one place to the other is very dangerous.-->NO idea what this means.
- If you go to a zone you dont know to explore...you die.-->Again, lost me.
- Aggroed mobs will follow you arround for the rest of their lives-->Depends on the mob, depends on your speed, depends on your abilites or spells.
- Tradeskills require WAY to much money to start-->Depends on the skill. Your statment is way too generalizing.
- Downtime required to meditate sucks.-->So does regen, but tough. Spells are available to lessen the downtime.
- Having to run to your corpse after dying sucks and it's an enormous time drain.-->I have no idea what the penalty for dying in DAoC is, but I find this fair to me. I have to disagree with you on this one.
- Clerics get rez at lvl 34???? in DAoC is lvl 10-->Not sure what your point is here.
So far I understand your argument for DAoC as compared to EQ is that it's EASIER. I hope I don't meet you in EQ, I'm afraid you're one of those dudes who starts a character and expects to get power-levelled by the first 30+ they can find.
I switched to Pipeline the Thurs night before @Home was supposed to go down. My connection has been fine since, in fact, it is a little faster. I'm getting a solid 768/768, the only differences: a customized IE with some horrendously white toolbars (which I reset to default), some troubleshooting program (nuked from startup with msconfig), and a dynamic IP (which = suck compared to my "static" IP I had with @Home).
A friend of mine did the same thing but with different results. His connection was okay right after, but for Fri through most of Sun his connection only worked for 2 min intervals. Sun night it appears his issues got fixed and now his is fine.
These both occurred in Madison, WI.

Based on MS history, the X-Box will flop...
Did I miss something? What other than Microsoft Bob has Microsoft failed miserably?
Finally some competition worth looking into in the console market. It's seems the Console Wars are back on and much better than ever. Time to see if Nintendo's rehashed ideas and Sony's "old" PS2 can compete with the X-Box.
I'm not sure which is more wrong, this statement or the fact that it got moderated up. Comparing Gates to bin Laden shows just how mentally disturbed some of you Linux zealots are.
The Swords series is also very good.
I spent many an afternoon visiting Half-Price book locations to find copies of both series.

produces something available for order. No reason to DIY.

I don't recall one turning into a TV...

I've used this ( http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm ) before, and it's free and seemingly from Microsoft. Are they just going to start charging for it?
Didn't take long for these to start. New record? Likely not...
Only if they start including crocodile meat in Subway sandwiches...
I don't see too many nude pics of Mennonites online (just an example).
And I'm not saying it's wrong, just that it likely isn't going to help her win a jury over based on sympathy for her.
Zee goggles zey do nuzzing!
Seriously, she must be of high moral standing if these pics exist in the first place.
Are you questioning the credibility of the 1NT4RW3B?! Madness!!! ;)

The only thing most users I know trigger is a complete system lock, hardly evolutionary progress. ;)
people who bought the game the claime to run on there OS have been screwed
I would assume you are talking about the lack of support for Win 95? Check the SoL retail box, nowhere does it say Win 95 is supported.

Metroid looked like complete a$$ in Electronic Gaming Monthly. It appears to be running in 4 colors: brown, green, red, yellow, but mostly brown.

Semantics. Thanks for the attack on my intelligence though. =P
So did you have problems with the install or are you just impatient? I don't see what your problem with the XP install is.
