Ever since I found out about Discover Card Secure Number I use that for all my online purchases to help reduce the risk of my real number being stolen. Complete Fraud Protection What this does is provide a one time use credit card number and CID number.
Sure you can dispute false charges with your credit card company but who really wants to deal with that and any headaches.
You can be like me, order the bundle (Wii + 6 games), bundle is 'Family' version (ugh), pay $630'ish (S/H + tax), keep 3 games (I wanted to actually keep them), take 3 other games to Walmart store and get refund. Save $150'ish.:)
Walmart sent the games and Wii in all different packages and packing slip, made it easier to return unwanted games. Other people have had success doing this too, others have failed.
I see your Target and raise you a Motorola with Digital DNA. The building used to belong to Motorola, before it spun off the SPS into Freescale, which was bought or being bought out. The building itself is MOS13, where Apple G3s were made at one time.
# Video game console makers that sell their console units at very low margins, or even at a loss, to achieve a higher market share. They rely on profits from software sales where the markups are considerably higher. They also receive profits from 3rd party software companies for licensing fees. Microsoft has used this technique with the Xbox. Sony has done the same, to a lesser extent, with the PlayStation 2 and PSP. [citation needed]
From Wiki FWIW. Though I also remember reading some where, possibily from Wiki that PS2 was only briefly sold for a loss.
Would it also be the possibility they are waiting for concrete information on what games will be available on release day. Then force to preorder a bundle (2? 3 games) instead of preordering a console without games? It would help their revenue instead of selling just a console or console with a single game.
What are the chances of EA putting Securom on this free game?
