    I failed to see where he laid out "numerous challenges" that Microsoft will face when entering this market. Mind you, I don't suspect they'll succeed here, but I don't have a long list of reasons why, and neither did this guy.

    It's not a matter of "power-saving chips" vs. "non-power-saving chips". It's a matter of degree, and Intel has increased the degree, "performance per watt" as they like to call it, by going to a 45nm process.

    I live in America and I generally use the escape key to turn off my PowerPoints, or just wait until it says "End of slide show, press any key to exit" and press any key.

    I suppose butenediol could polymerize under the right conditions, but we don't want it to. We're using it more like an antioxidant - another thing molecules with lots of hydroxyl groups are good for.

    I think BUNA gets its name from butadiene, not butanediol. Many polymers are based on monomers like butadiene that have C-C double bonds. Butanediol does not. Both are made in large quantities but butadiene is more used than butanediol. ABS, for example, is acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene copolymer. Lots of things are made of ABS. Like car parts. And pipes.

    The company I work for has had some difficulty finding a good US domestic source of butenediol (butanediol minus 2 H atoms), but I think China has an abundant supply.

    I'll eat all the colors of M&M's. I just like eating the ones of related or single color at the same time (e.g not mixing green and red, but red and yellow together are OK, or green and blue together are OK. Brown and red are acceptable, but it's best to eat brown alone.) Completely irrational, I know, but harmless.

    Well, you don't need any oxygen then, do you?
    You might make oxygen from carbon and hydrogen though. I'm not sure that's the normal pathway, but it makes more sense than H + O -> C.
