    Not really. Since most reaction kinetics are linearly or squarely dependent on the concentration and Arrhenius-like dependent on temperature, and we're talking about a 100 or 200 K difference in temperature between the Earth and a Jupiter or Uranus-like planet, a reaction rate difference is dominated by the temperature difference.

    Now, I would consider this post (normally, not necessarily in this case) to be Off-topic, but not a Troll. Is my understanding flawed? A troll is trying to interject some agenda or draw a lot of response (good or bad), not just trying to be funny (as this post would be even in some other thread).

    How do you know she wasn't saying those sounds at other times? You weren't there.

    Maybe the reason so many languages have similar words for mother and father is that the first sounds made by babies are generally "ma" and "da" and "ba" etc. Just a hypothesis.

    he said put clear coat over it. so it's an expensive laser process, followed by clear PAINT.
    I suspect that the clear paint would destroy the color-producing effect of the metal surface anyways.

    I'm not a programmer, so I think I don't have the same concept of "specialized training" that you have. I'm not familiar with "languages of the week". Could you give an example of one?

    I also don't consider learning C++ a "well-rounded education", something I think requires history, art, literature, science, philosophy, [human] languages, etc.

    Depends on what you mean by "do far better".
    Earn money?
    Probably not.
    Specialized training combined with natural abilities can definitely lead to good earnings.
    A well-rounded education does not necessarily lead to career success, although there are certainly other reasons for doing it.

    He favors abolishing the IRS. So does Huckabee. The Congress would likely prevent either of them from doing it, much less "dismantling" the entire government, and there does need to be some pressure to slow or reverse the growth of government.

    Of course I have a choice not to buy from iTunes store, and in fact I've made that choice, but I still have a right to comment about it. It's not like I'm suing Apple or something.

    Thank you for clarifying.
    I can burn a CD of tracks I purchased from iTunes, encoding as mp3, and then rip and transfer those to my mp3 player, but it's a hassle, wastes CDs and time, and degrades the audio.
