no you wont find that happening

what you dont get is while apple is 3% at best of computer market, they are 50% of Adobes customers. why is that? it snot because apple systems are simple, that is insulting and reflect ignorance of most people who make that claim. it is because in a high pressure environment of design, you need your systems to work. Apple has always had an advantage over EVERYONE, because they make a system which is a known quantity to software designers an 3rd part peripherals alike.

never mind apple's historical leadership in fonts and color profile synching. no one, has time or MONEY in graphic shop to put uo with bullshit that is supporting windows, fuck, nevermind linux! your on crack

That way apple could have its cake and eat it too.
Pixar isn't beholden to Apple records for non-compete. But if labels pull out, Jobs could create his own label and fill it with artist who jump ship from RIAA and they would get awesome exposure?

Hell, Jobs could do it alone, he is worth about 3 billion.

but i dont think thats what Jobs wants, as he wants everything to be easy for his customers to a fault. For people to go to different places to get their music, even if they could get it in a mp3 form, wouldn't make sense to him.

he would sell iPods at loss to break record companies will before he would allow them to leave his pull. Or he would let Warner leave by itself and eat it.

your right, as a designer i have seen and been on both sides of that fence. As you know, design software is expensive and the design industry is tough bitch to work in, and when your a starting out, how do you do the work if you dont have the apps?

ethically weak excuse to be sure.. but i dont deny what it was like some people do to rationalize.

i recall when i was in art school in early 90's showing someone how easy it was to slap Photoshop 2.5 on to a SyQuest drive, his eye popped out of his head. it never occurred to him that at least then, that most apps were as easy to take as any file on os 9.

then there is rationale, if i take the home from work, i can do work from home, which some employers have no problem with. No confirms you delete what you used when you leave.

but i will say this about mac users, we have higher expectations in software and outside of games, are used to being treated to a better user experience by years over M$ users.
