The reason drivers get pissed is because bikes have to follow the same rules of the road as cars. It's no different than if the people in the car ran the light. It's just as illegal and dangerous in a bike.
And the reason there's no lights on bike paths is because bike paths generally don't GO anywhere - they're just scenic, so there's not really a ton of traffic.
I think the much more interesting and surprising thing is the release on the pc. While I own a copy of the original Street Fighter 2 on the pc, I don't think it sold well, or that any of the later ones were released there.
I found a couple like this, where there seemed to be multiple correct answers. Since it doesn't have a way to examine the questions you answered and see what the correct answer was, it will just have to remain one of the unsolved mysteries of our time.
As an amateur/semi-pro actor, who would love to get into voice acting, let me say that I have absolutely no sympathy for him. He got paid VERY generously, far more than most voice actors, as well as getting to have his name attached to one of the most popular games of all time. While he did an excellent job, I'm sure there are plenty of other actors who were willing and able to step up and take his place. In an industry where 90% of its workers are unemployed at any given time, he should be glad he got such a good gig. The fact that movie stars get paid millions is more an indictment of the movie industry, than an example of a fair wage.
I went to Georgia Tech, and we had free speech zones while I was there - and while I'm not necessarily a fan of them, I can see the necessity, especially since the group that used them the most was some kind of right wing christian hate group, who would constantly parade around with giant signs that said 'God Hates Fags', and have some speaker on a bullhorn spouting nonsense.
I can understand people not wanting that kind of protest everywhere, it was pretty disruptive.
It's more like a carpenter asking for a nail gun because it's quicker, less tiring, with less change of damaging themselves. Any carpenter with any sense would ask for one, just like any coder with any sense would ask for these tools.
Now I think that people from Duluth, Minnesota, are EXTREMELY naive, enough so to just take RIAA lawyers at their word. Whether she's guilty or not, you come off as a yokel with something to prove and an axe to grind against those 'uppity city folk'.
So, I went to go see what how their selection is. Guess what, can't do anything without signing up for a trial (and giving them name, address and a credit card number.) You really think I'm going to do that when I have no idea what bands they even carry?
Er, what? You can browse their entire library without signing up for anything. Hell, I just checked, and you can even listen to the samples for each song without being logged in.
So have you ever actually TRIED to do what you're claiming is so simple? What does Occam's razor tell us the most likely answer is - that every lawyer on the planet is equally corrupt and incompetent, or that creating concise, easy to understand, comprehensive legal documents is very difficult?
I'm not saying that laws shouldn't be re-written and simplified now and then, but it's a much more difficult proposition than you make it out to be.
The gamecube controller has the best innovation since the invention of the gamepad - differently shaped buttons. Now while playing I can actually pick the right button just on the feel of them beneath my fingers, as opposed to memorizing a random assortment of letters or symbols.
It's also way more comfortable than any of the others.
You'd think that Bethesda had raped everyone's dog the way people are reacting to this news. I would have thought Slashdot to be a little more open minded and thoughtful than NMA.
Just because you didn't like Elder Scrolls doesn't mean Fallout will be bad.
Just because they made Elder Scrolls doesn't mean Fallout will be LIKE Elder Scrolls.
If you don't want Bethesday to make it - who the hell DO you want? Should the IP just sit unused until everyone forgets about it? Should we let the next generation of gamer's only impresssions of it be the Interplay MMO? At least wait until you play a demo or something before you start screaming bloody murder.
Do we know the total shipments for the Wii and 360 launches? I wonder if the reason it sold the most the quickest is just because it had the most to sell.
Of COURSE there's no relation between activity levels and BMI - Body Mass Index is almost entirely useless for determining obesity, except in the cases of morbidly obese people. It's just a ratio of height to weight, and doesn't actually measure fat levels at all. So, two people, one who plays sports with a lot of muscle, and another who sits around eating cheetos, could easily have the same BMI, because one has muscle weight, and another has fat weight. When you factor in that muscle weighs much MUCH more than fat does, this study means exactly squat.
If they had actually measured body fat percentage instead of BMI, then I would actually care about their findings.
They're also neglecting caloric intake, as mentioned by many others, which also screws up their semblance of credibility.
Pong is significant for bringing video gaming to the masses, and being the first large commercial success. This list is more for games of great cultural significance, artistic works deserving of praise. I wouldn't really include Pong, fun though it may be.
Did they just pick all the best selling pc games of the last couple years? There's pretty much nothing on here that wasn't a big name best-seller. Even ignoring whether they're good games or not, it pretty much nullifies any kind of claim of validity on this list.
They're holding on to some of the really big name releases for a lull in the Wii releases. That way, they can have a big game coming out pretty much all the time, whether on Wii or virtual console.

You prefer your bugs to go UN-fixed?

If you're spending more on D&D books than you are on WoW, you're doing it wrong.

Nearly the entire melody is in the bass GUITAR. Guitar Hero includes bass parts.

Don't forget to tighten up the graphics on level 3. And your mom said playing games wouldn't amount to anything!
If Ebert doesn't think that the games of Chess and Go are beautiful, then he is mistaken on a level beyond belief.
I'm not saying that laws shouldn't be re-written and simplified now and then, but it's a much more difficult proposition than you make it out to be.
I didn't think you could *steal* copyrighted data, you could just be unlawfully redistributing.
It's also way more comfortable than any of the others.
People are really looking hard for some way to call Google evil, aren't they?

Because the pain of using microsoft products is the same pain as reading Ayn Rand novels?
It's your fault, jackass!
