I still don't understand IBM's strategy with Lotus SmartSuite. They don't sell it in retailers, the gave it with IBM PC in the past(Still maybe). If they are so "embedded in the Open Source Movement" then they easily could OPEN THE SOURCE OF LOTUS SMARTSUITE. Or they are too worried about Microsoft?.
IBM is telling everybody how their open source souls are been mimic by Sun and HP. But if IBM is so embeded in the open source movement why do they don't open Lotus Office Suit?. They are not making money with it now, isn't it?.
There are scandals in Japan over the same problem. Is no logical that in a Democracy where a company can NOT vote, CAN donate money. That is the reason that a company donate money??. Obviously the secrets favors...

Maybe in the Internet the English would be overwhelming other languages but out of there the mayor cities in the US are becoming more an more Spanish fluents.
If the product is commercially dead the source would be usefull even if poor quality source. If the product is alive and the code is high quality one. Great!.

Here in Japan the companies prefer to pay fixed salaries and fixed Bonus (twice a year, generally) But I would like the Bonus more representative of the dividends and more conforming to the volume of job that ones produce. In that case i'll not worry to much about overtime fare.

do you mean no-libre? or no-gratis?, For the first, can't be do(need to start another OS from the scrach). For the second, is no-gratis if you want.
