    I see a practical neural interface being something that your brain has to learn how to use, much as a newborn learns how to use their hands. The brain is very adaptable and, given enough practice, should be able to teach itself how to move a cursor around the screen in a manner no less intuitive than moving your finger.

    I know it may sound harsh, but I sincerely suggest just making the jump and going with a dual boot install. Choose a distro that's GUI intensive and let Gnome or KDE cushion you while you get used to the rest of the system.

    I have an idea, and it may seem radical to you but so be it. I'm happy with where the Linux desktop is at. I think it's fine, I have a very hard time placing my finger on things that need to be improved. Furthermore I see no reason to stop improving servers. I don't see Linux as some sort of conquest, I don't care if other people think other software is better, I care about what *I* like. The main objective (at least not to everyone) is not to steal the other guy's userbase so stop acting like it is.

    The Lossless in "Free Lossless Audio Codec" means that it does not use lossless compression. No format is going to help if the people selling the music only offer it in shitty quality.
