USB has high cpu use and encrypted does not help a firewire based flash drive will be a lot faster. USB 3.0 may help but it too may still the limit of usb 2.0 high cpu use as well.

Smart phones also need to have the right to bypass any type of sim locks / network locks / even phone app network locks as well.

why are they not selling mac os x?
They are by pass the os x loader not the full os and likey it has something to do with the efi bios / pci id locks that is very small bits ok code.

You are getting / paying a copy of mac os x on each system. Dell and others per load images on there systems apple likely does the same thing as well.

Pinball games with Bsmt2000 sound and the mid 80's / 90's games had good midi based music where real good.
Chris Granner and Brian Schmidt did real good work with the sound on the games they did the sound work for.
