There's nothing wrong with electronic music, which has been done for about 50-60 years now, so it's not like it was invented two years ago or something. Tangerine Dream's stuff from the early seventies to the eighties is some of my favorite music (I have 11 albums and one 5-disc compilation so far).

I was watching these on my living room TV as they were being webcast, and I kind of realized something about watching games or sports on TV -- they are only truly interesting if you know enough about the game to play it yourself.

I think this applies to most things. I rarely watch speedruns of games I've never played. As for sports, I can watch boxing or judo because I practise both so I know what's going on and I can appreciate it. But something like football or ice hockey just bores me to tears.

I just want innovation in games.

What the fuck is this "I want innovation in games" whining that's been going on for years and years now? It's getting very annoying. Why does everyone want innovation for innovation's sake? Do you even know what you want, or are you just repeating the popular catchphrase of the moment? Even if developers do release innovative or different games, people still keep repeating "moar inovation plz" like some kind of fucking parrots. A game doesn't need to be innovative in order to be fun.

This is pretty much like the "more gameplay, less graphics" bullshit that people keep spouting. They must be completely out of the gaming loop since they keep demanding something that's been around for decades.

Note to moderators: no, this isn't a "troll" or a "flamebait." If you don't know what trolling and flamebaiting are, leave moderating to people who actually know what the fuck they're doing.

I was initially going to wait for the 65 nm version, but after it was first mentioned in 2006 I hadn't heard anything since. So I got a 360 last Wednesday. Now the 65 nm version is coming, but it probably won't hit Europe until 2008. Even if I had known when it's going to come (or when I suspect it's going to come), I wouldn't have waited.

This shouldn't be a problem to most people, since most people can easily afford a new 360.

I'll concede that suicide bombings may be linked to a lack of sex, but suicide bombings are also an instrument of Jihad. I don't know if they're trying to make people think that Islamic terrorism is all about sexual frustration or if they're only talking about suicide bombing.

What's very politically incorrect is this:

Across all societies, polygyny makes men violent, increasing crimes such as murder and rape, even after controlling for such obvious factors as economic development, economic inequality, population density, the level of democracy, and political factors in the region.

The fact that Muslims commit a dizzying amount of rapes is something that you can't say out loud, even if you have statistics to back it up. They do it because it's in their cultural nature to do so. There's nothing mysterious or irrational about that, but people are ready to believe that black is white and night is day (but only when it's convinient to do so) if it allows them to keep clinging to their delusions. So when somebody claims that Muslim immigrants in Europe commit a disproportionate amount of rapes, people will simply claim that culture just cannot influence your behavior in a negative way. We're all equally likely to commit rape (I suppose everyone is also equally likely to commit seppuku or rape babies to cure AIDS). But white people? We're all genetically predisposed to slave trading, crusading, genociding and child molesting.
