If this gets popular, and as presumably the interface will be similar to all other Nokia products, people will realise that Linux is not necessarily hard to use.
You mean like the N-Gage? It took me 20 minutes to send a 3-word text message on a demo N-Gage and then it gave me the helpful error message "format unsupported".
What about using it to optimize the way you use the software. There's alot of voodoo involved with optimizing databases, this would help DBAs and developers to get more of an idea of why certain optimizations work, and help to find new ways to maximize performance. It's not like sharing the source of SQL Server hurts anyone, if anything it shows how open source is putting pressure on Microsoft.
Someone needs to look up the word 'included'. And I don't see in the article where it says less patches = more secure. Also, if you had read just one more sentance of the article before closing the tab in disgust, you would catch this quote: "On average, the Windows setup had just over 30 days of risk versus 71 days for the Red Hat setup, their study found."
It does not say that Microsoft is the vulnerability reporting authority in this. They could be using an independant group's reports to count the number of vulnerabilities.
What follows is the transcript of a conversation that took place between a top US defense official and his wife after watching this week's episode of Fox's popular drama 24.
Wife: It's a good thing the real nuclear power plants don't allow remote access! Man what fanciful terror alert situation will those 24 writers think of next?
In essence, this bot is just a way of representing patterns in the tastes of music purchasers(according to Billboard) over 30 years. The training data comes from the choices that listeners make, so the listeners really are choosing what the record companies should put out next. You could even look at this as giving listeners more power in a vote-with-your-dollars sort of way.
The truly amazing part is that unlike id, who up until (and some would argue, including) Doom 3 simply made an engine and slapped some quick levels together to show it off
Anyone who thinks the levels in Doom 3 were "slapped together"...
He said "up until", I believe he meant that Doom 3 was the first game not to have levels slapped together.

It's Gasoline Boycott month for me; my civic hybrid keeps me safely away from pesky gas stations most of the time. As an added bonus, that makes it much more rare for my cell phone to explode!
Don't ask for an exception, don't raise a stink, don't beg and plead with your bosses, just put your cell phone on vibrate. When did your employer gain jurisdiction over your pockets?
It doesn't have anything to do with making sure we don't destroy the environment, or some such other hippie bs, it's a matter of ensuring that any life that we could possibly find on mars was not brought there by astronauts. 'Contamination' in this case does not mean the spreading of the plague of human civilization, it means the introduction of a variable into a controlled environment.
You forgot iCal, the application where you can set up appointments and pretend it'll send you alerts. It's like having a crackhead as your personal assistant, every once in a while he'll remind you of something, but mostly he just sits there and looks good.
I think its more likely that 98 will be killed in action on its last day before retirement. In light of this tragedy, Windows XP will avenge 98's death and save the world in the process.
Discs might be alright for portable cd players, but not for video game systems. Every time you hit a button or threw the system across the room, the game would skip.

Hey, Mos Def is much more Def than the second Most Def. That's got to count for something.
That is all.
anyword@grafedia.net is tubgirl. This project had potential, but I'm done with it because of this.
Looks like they're gonna beat out AMD's sexy new XXX chips by at least a factor of two. Double the pornography, half the time!

Official: Uh...
If the earth exists without humans around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Don't forget female engineers! It really is a very ignorant post. Shame on the mods for including it.
Everyone knows Alex Kidd invented the pedicopter in 1983.
If you're interested to know whether it sends the audio or the file, see subject.
