Actually both sides need each other: ISPs wouldn't have any customers if content providers didn't exist. Companies like comcast lie about the services they provide "up to xxx amount", like you said, their customers are using more of what is promised to them. I cannot see what is wrong with that.

The ISPs have an unfair advantage on their side. Say comcast starts charging for "throttling" packets from content providers. Say google gets pissed off at this and stops serving comcasts IP block. I have two choices: either I use something other than google or I switch ISPs. Switching ISPs is impossible (or at least hard) in most areas so I will have to stop using google.

If net neutrality is removed ISPs can charge content providers obscene amount of money...

MP3 compression is intesting as it does not work like other digital compression algorithms (i.e image compression, jpeg). The human ear is very sensitive compared to the eye and can detect jpeg style compression very easily. What MP3 does is remove information you cannot hear. Say at a given instance there are two tones playing. Also say one tone is more dominant than the other: most humans can't hear the second tone. Throwing information about the second tone out from the file makes no difference to most humans.

So I will go ahead and say compressing the an MP3 over and over will not create additional data loss, as long as no outside noise is added to the PCM output.

An interesting note about immigrating to Turkey: you have to change your name to the Turkish phonetic spelling. Apple has a responsiblity to make products with NO viruses in them. If they cannot test every single ipod they must ensure that the process is in place so that employees of the manufacturar cannot mess with the product. If this requires that the manufacturar change operating systems, well the manufacturar will have to change operating systems.

I'm sure Apple is either going to change the manufacturar now or change the process. They are going to fix the problem, however the problem shouldn't have existed in the first place.

Apple should not blame anyone about this but themselves.

Apple prides itself of making quality products, this however is a blunder even Microsoft couldn't get away with.
