'Today I was made aware the dreaded clock of doom was to be set closer to it's detonation point. We can not let this freedom hating clock of doom win this war of terror. I am fully aware of what may happen if this clock reaches 12, that's when both the big hand and little hand are on 12, I understand that. Part of my plan is to hunt down all TDMDs (Time Devices of Mass Destruction) and eradicate them, or simply to remove their evil freedom hating batteries.
Also part of my plan is to work with companies such as TimeX, to find out just how this clock CAN take a lickin' and NOT keep on tickin', I think that's important. All Atomic Scientists working to further the TDMDs agenda will be held responsible for their actions.
If you have information leading to the location of the Clock of Doom please contact our newly formed government agency the Bureau of Liberty Offending & Accurately Timed Explosions Defense, which will receive an initial 86.6 Billion dollars to fight this war.
I've personally had plenty of times where a system crash resulted in a reboot with no USB, very annoying when you need to log back into the system or BIOS. I have a PS/2 keyboard plugged in as well at all times sitting to next to the tower just in case.
2006 and the Government still has no idea how to generate money on it's own.
'Hey Bob, what do we have left to tax?'
'How about things that don't actually exist Tom?'
That is the single worst event of reasoning I have ever witnessed. Please tell me you don't take yourself seriously! The PS3 does what it was intended to do and does it well, sold out and will continue to sell each and every unit. I guess we are all just buying gold toilet paper huh? Maybe somebody should teach you a lesson on Supply and Demand.
P.S. If you would like to sell me $900 in gold for $600 I'd be more than willing to send you payment.
PS3 users got ripped off? Let's see, they paid $600 or so for a system that costs Sony almost $900 to make, comes with a Blue Ray player and loads of new technology.
Wii buyers? well, they got a different looking Game Cube with an updated controller. Congrats. =)
There's a very easy fix to all these Electronic Voting Machine situations. First, each machine should PRINT out a CLEARLY labeled receipt showing exactly who you voted for.
This would be dropped into a box on your way out. The machine would still keep an internal tally of votes to compare to the final vote count in that county. So why hasn't anyone thought of this yet?
Most of the people that blame Leftists for wanting Gun Control have not half a brain to realize exactly what Gun Control is. I hope you realize at some point in your life that owning a gun or multiple guns can still exist perfectly with having strict Gun Control no matter what any right wing nut has to say about it.
I guess for today's Republican we have to dumb things down enough so they can understand it a bit more clearly, why don't we just call it 'Keeping Guns Out of Reach From Crazy People That Are Likely to Take out Their Frustration on Innocent Citizens While Maintaining the Ability for Good Law Abiding Citizens to Obtain a non Assault Legal Type Gun of Their Choice' would that help?
That said there is a bit on the far left that would like all guns banned, let's not try to group them all together though, OK?
Who does this really side with? The RIAA or the individual? Does it not give more concrete evidence against that individual if files are found by a 3rd party? You would think any files 'found' by the RIAA would not hold up well in court. What about files that were deleted long ago, how about used HDDs that have previous owners files on them? Sounds like the RIAA would have to request files from very specific dates and times to me.
For some of us the Amiga systems bring back some pretty fond memories. It was my first computer system and I enjoyed every aspect of it, unlike my future IMB compatible systems. I remember my dad booting up windows 95, being frustrated he would point to his Amiga and say 'Windows 95?! Amiga 85!' Yeah, MS was way behind yet doing much better than AOS in retail.
Indeed the system was way ahead of its time (if in stability alone), unfortunately I was reminded of this by ever Amiga fan I crossed. I think that was part of the downfall, it was SO great that it turned into a small Niche market where the only people who wanted to use it were those who just wanted something 'better' than the standard systems that were coming of age. It seemed as if, looking back that the owners never really wanted it to be a Mainstream product, cause then it just would not be cool.
I'm sure that most of original owners of the system would love to see it come back, which is exactly why the name is still used today. Unfortunately it looks like Amiga is going for the small Niche market again, something I don't think ensures longevity in todays world. When one of the big boys decides to step on their toes it will once again be the end of that legendary name.
Everyone has their own definition of art. Art can be thought of as anything from Design to Architecture. I think though, if we want the word itself to hold value it should be important to differentiate between what is Art and what is Design, which can often be Artistic. I am a Designer, I am also an artist. Although my Design takes years of practice, as artistic as it is, it is very rarely Art.
Art should be inspiring, timeless, original, limited and should hold or gain in value over the time of its creation, that in my opinion is real Art, often imitated rarely duplicated.
By this definition games are certainly not art, but that does not take anything away from them being Artistic Designs.

Oh I am not placing blame anywhere, just saying that I think PS/2 still has its place.

Talk about a whole new meaning to the term Outsourcing!

...This means no Pesticides, right?

KFC has been doing this for years. You know that's the same slimy wing you're eating every time, the one with the chewy lump in the center.
This may come to bring new Definition to the words Out Sourcing.

This whole problem was revealed in the movie Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines. Twice Arnold's Sony Battery Packs were used as explosives.
