Do they think they should get it because maybe people will forget what pole they are from and be like suuure you can have it you guys already have lots of warm clothes. Personally I think they should dice the thing up by land mass globally and give every country a slice. Then we could do that cheesy thing where every country in the world is holding hands in a big ass circle.

The tool looks really REALLY powerful. They really need to change it so it can be more easily used by the noob though. I would even suggest that the links showing trends can be linked to. That way if you want to make a point in a debate you can point someone to your lensed construct. Or there can be sites that will list interesting correlations like in blogs or w/e. Here it would be VERY useful. If they make it a web-based system with no download it would be much much more powerful again. The only big problem I see is the implementation. Gathering so much info is hard not impossible but! following information as sites move and evolve will be impossible. I think they will need to be able to grab historical data as will as a sites own history... for example instead of linking to your own graph allow linking to google stocks or google trends. A lot of those reach back to the 70s which is more useful than the last 8mnths.

Yes the governator was placed in one of the hardest states of the nation and hes actually done a semi-decent job. But everyone around him is corrupt, and the referendum system for EVERYTHING is insanely hard to deal with. People will always vote to have monkey butlers, free ferrarris and 3 day weekends but will never vote to raise taxes. People cannot CANNOT govern themselves, thats why we vote for reps. Even if most government officials suck more than the average person on the street who knows nothing to do with politics (see: arnold > most republicans) they are still WAY better than the mob.

5% of the total budget is a BIG HUGE deal and you could probably cut more than that anyways... If you also brought your healthcare over to the evil socialist ways like france or canada or pretty much any 1st world nation. That could save you another 5%. Baby boomers dying will lower SSI costs as will restructuring payouts. Maybe another 1% or 2% there. If you want more than that you are seriously grasping as my/your figures are superbly optimistic. A 12% drop in spending with a 5% increase in net taxation totally brings the us out of the 13% budget deficit you have. This will allow you to spend the rest paying off your debt. Though its worrying that 100BILLION a year means it'll still likely take a few hundred years to pay off. And the debt has increased 1.4trillion last year. And that was before the market crisis where promises were recently made for a 8trillion dollar bailout. Welllll I guess with a 100% cut in spending you could pay the debt in a mere 10 years! Assuming people all sent their money in to the pure volunteer ran government and the entire country didnt collapse in chaos... which it would. I dunno, Maybe you should just file for bankruptcy?

I'm sure 100years ago in countries like japan/korea obesity figures were well under .5% (though no studies were done at the time obviously). America is fat because they eat garbage and don't exercise same as in any other country. This ruling is total BS.
